I'm new and may have already been a topic, which I haven't seen but if so I apologize ahead of time. I was curious, what is the worst away team to go see the Skins play within the NFC east?? I have heard that Phili is head an shoulders worse than Dallas. That you basically take your life into your own hands going to see the skins play Philli!! What's your opinion??

I've always heard the Philly is the worst place to see an away game. Remember in game 16 this year? Some woman poured beer on Clinton Portis's mom...however, Clinton's mom punched the b*tch in the face.
I think Clinton's mom and Mrs. McNabb should go at it in a boxing match. I've got money on Portis's mom...

I went to that game 16 at Philly last year. I wore a Portis jersey, Redskins hat, Redskins coat. My buddies wore a Redskins hat and Arrington jersey. We sat on the Eagles side, front row lower level 20 yard line. Not one person said a word- to any of us. Not in the stadium, in the parking lot, in the mens room, or in line for a beer. I think that with the new stadium, the fans are a different breed than the ones who were at the Vet.

Yeah Right, I must have been at a different game. Check out the tailgate thread for the New Years day game. Everytime you went to the porta john and were by yourself, you were lucky to make it back to Redskin Alley. Those fans are the worse by a long shot.

I have always heard horror stories about Philly, but I have never been there. To think of it the only place besides RFK and FedEx that I have been was to a Carolina Panthers game a few years ago and they played the Bengals. It was a nice place, but not home.

The Philly fans were pretty bad we had our bus spit on and our flag taken off the bus and burned lol. It was awesome though we moved over few spaces and parked with 75 other Redskins fans we were singing hail to the Redskins as the Eagle fans were walking on by.

Giants Stadium is pretty bad. The whole stadium is filled with fat guys from staten island named Tony that throw things at you if you're sitting in front of them and cheering for the skins.

I had one of my best friends tell me she had an awful time at the Dallas game last year (Testaverde to Crayton) she was talking trash the whole game and bascially got harrassed all the way home. She was po'd that she couldn't have been there THIS YEAR.

I went to game 16 in Philly this year and the diffence was that the Eagles were not that good. I am a strong believer in, if a morons team is good, that enables them to make the biggest a** of themselves. The Eagles fans in that game were more P.O.ed at their own team then at the Skins. If they are good next year and we were both playing for making the post season in Philly in game 16, dont know if I would go. But you cannot go in game 16 of this year and say that Philly fans are not so bad...wait till their team is a contender again.

I went to the Skins Browns game Gibbs first year back. It was very bad as everyone who saw us cursed us out all game long. I had beer spilled on me by pure accident however. We eneded up losing that game which made the heckling back to our car even worse.

Philly fans are the lowest form of life on the planet. After hearing what they did to CP's mom, I was so glad that they have never won a superbowl.

Thanks TO for causing the Iggles to self destruct completely this year. :eaglesuck

haha exactly - i had a guy sitting behind me throw me down into my seat for standing up and throwing my arms up after a TD. He told me to sit the F*** down and shut up - which I did for the rest of the game. :gaintsuck

I've been to only one "away" game so far. The Seattle game. So that's the worst right there. If for no other reason than the $%@#$% cold rain that fell for just about all of it.

I've been to the Giants games the last 2 seasons and haven't had any trouble - even wearing full gear.

Worst place I have been is Buffalo - those people are brutal. At halftime, my wife and I were catching a smoke and some punk kid got into her face. Needless to say I had to handle some Buffalo bidness...

I've been to all away games down here in Florida, one at the Jags (easy going crowd there) and the rest (about 6 or 7 games ) at Tampa. Only had minor stuff in Tampa. the first time I went to Tampa was in 1993 (week 14) and they were still had their orange uni's then. Our team sucked that year but so did theirs, I was coming out of the mens room and thought my buddy was right behind me, so I said out load that it seemed that there was more Redskins fans then bucs fans. Well this guy decked in orange started telling me that he was originally from NY and that the Giants owned us, well me being from Jersey I asked him if he was dressed incognito due to witness protection. His buddy laughed, my buddy was there by then we all laughed and went our own ways.

I also did some jawing with a couple Cowboy fans (they had their colors on, not orange) in our seats, they were good natured seeing how we were not playing the Boys, we all had a good laugh when I told them to shut up because they were the only team in our division who didn't sweep us   (yeah, that was before the streak, OOH the irony).
  We won that day, our third win out of four for the season. :silly:
