For health and salary cap reasons, the Skins will
likely release John Hall...

I couldnt help but recall a few years back when the
Skins employed like 5 kickers during the year...the missed
FGs, short kickoffs, close losses...oh the horror...

Vandy, the Colts kicker is going to be a free agent,
and is fresh off the game losing FG against Pittsburgh...

any thoughts on who will be our K??

i wouldnt mind mr.Novak coming back...hes young and he can kick very well. at times he looked better than John Hall. if he does really well again we can sign him to a long term contract and we will be set. :cheers:

as for Frost i dont know of any punters that would be available but i can garuntee that he is G-O-N-E!

Yes, bring back Novak if the Cardinals release him. And also add a punter who can also kick off.

any thoughts on who will be our K?? Man,you are so right, i just had a flashback to those times,not a pretty picture. I dont know who the kicker will be but i hope we dont suffer through something like the aboved mentioned again.... Now i have a unsettled feeling in my gut

Janikowski is rumored to be out in Oakland...he has a huge leg. His accuracy has been suspect, could just need a new envronment to get it back.

i think if john hall is healthy this year he will be much better than last year he will get more power on his kick offs .... the main thing that i am worried about is our punting game we gave up feild postion last year with some punts not going over 12 yards :tantrum:

Why is this subject brought up again? I thought we should of spent the money for Vinetari, we didn't. We overlooked the kicking game once again, and it will haunt us, it always does.


I will say this, if Hall get hurt one more time, I say we hang his ass from the tallest point in Fed Ex so we know once and for all he is gone, and will not hurt this team again. You know I'm joking don't you?:laugh: :point2sky

Cards have Rackers. They won't keep 2 kickers. We should have a shot at Novak again.

they resigned novak, and novak is trash.. He missed too many kicks in his short time here and cant kickoff the football. I would not be suprised if we lost 2-3 games this season because of our special teams(punting and FGs.) We let go of David Ackers i think maybe 7-8 yrs ago and that was the biggest mistake that redskins made.
