That list is really bad.

Plax is not a top 10 reciever and Moss is not the 2nd best reciever in the league.

When we played AZ, I was MUCH more impressed with Boldin over Fitzgerald.

I wonder what Fitzgerald's stats would be if the Cardinals actually played in a division with defenses.

To me, that makes Chad Johnson's numbers even more impressive, considering they play Pittsburgh and Baltimore twice a year. But I'm not sure I would put him at #1. I would probably put Steve Smith or even Randy Moss (still) at #1.

No, not Randy Moss. He is too lazy. If he was not, then I would agree, but since he has been playing lazy and uninspired football, he is not one of the best till he steps it up.

Most realistic so far :applause:

Everybody going off one year is amazing Holt is underrated and should be above Moss. Let Moss keep it up for at least another year or two and we will be able to mention him in the top 5.

Thanks maybe I should have Madden's job. I don't think his performances at Carolina can be ignored and you can't expect him to do much with the Bears offense. Too many of these lists are just focusing on this season's performances!

Marvin Harrison is a better reciever than Santana Moss, stop being a homer.

Look who he has to throw to him, and who he has to take coverage off of him....honestly...Moss is better than Harrison. Add Peyton to that, he puts up 1600 yards a season.

Santana is better than Joe Horn, I think this is a case of Anti=homerism. Just my opinion. I didn't list the top receivers of 2005.

Before 2005, would anyone have Santanna anywhere near the top 10? He probably is better, but its a little early in his career. We'll see.

Roy Williams from the Lions is definitely on my list. He's going to be a monster in the NFL, just waiting for Harrington (or whoever) to step it up and get the ball to him more. He would be my perfect pick for our 2nd receiver.

Chambers is a beast he has really been coming on especially this past season he had a great game against Buffalo, I think when he had over 230yds receiving. A lot of people do not know that much about him but they will learn real soon.

Plus he probably has the worst QB(QBs) of all those recievers and still manages to be one of the best!
The last couple of years it has been sage, gus, fiedler, and AJ.
Now consider how good he could be!!

Really??????? Terrel Owens...... Come on guys lets be serious, you have to add into the equation that he cant get along with anyone. That has a lot to do with how good he is. I wish T.O. would never ever play again, what a waste of oxygen....

terrell owens is the number one as far as i'm concerned. he's got enough speed to be the fast guy, has the hands to be a deep threat, has the body to be the big guy and go up the middle...he blocks and he shows up big when his number is called. i think the rest of the recievers are all good, but none have the complete package, or are as good at doing so many things as TO is.

i know many people will be pissed at this because of who he is, but they'll have a hard time disproving it.

If we are talking about the best all around recievers here is the list:

1. Hines Ward (He is the best blocker in the league, he catches consistantly over the middle, he can throw a great ball on trick play, and he is one of if not the leader of the offense. He is the most versitial reciever in the league)

2. Marvin Harrison (He is the best route runner in the league, he never takes a play off, and he is a great asset in the locker room.)

3. Chad Johnson (His big play ability is outstanding, he intimadates his opponents, and he is an extremly hard worker.)

4. Torry Holt (He moves the chains and he is a big play threat. The bottom line is you have to cover the whole field against this guy and he still gets open all the time.)

5 & 6. Are a tie between Santana Moss and Steve Smith (both of them are explosive wide outs. Whenever they have the ball they can hit a home run whether it be a screen, reverse, or a traditional pass.)

7. Rod Smith (The guy gets it done year in year out and his leadership is second to none)

8. Anquan Bolden (This guy is special. Not only is he fast but when he gets the ball he is probably the hardest reciever to tackle in the league.)

9. Terrell Owens (I hate to put him on the board but his physical ability sets him apart from most if not all recievers. If he could only buy into the team concept he would skyrocket up this board.)

10. Darrell Jackson (This is my sleeper. He was hurt this year but this guy has what it takes. Look for a career year next year from him. He is a move the chains guy that can also get open deep.)
