I was looking at pro-football-reference.com earlier today because I wanted to see Roger Craig's career stats. So I clicked on Roger Craig and it took me to his stats page. And on the stats page at the top, there's a note talking about how Roger Craig should be in the hall of fame. I was wondering why it was there, and then I noticed that someone had sponsored the page and wrote that up there. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/CraiRo00.htm

I went to Art Monk's page to see if anyone had sponsored it and wrote something similar, but no one had done it yet. They ask for $85 and I don't think it's worth it, but thought I'd pass it along. I think it's weird that they allow you to put your own personal opinion onto a stats page, they must need the money. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/MonkAr00.htm

In his defense when you use the search option you are still searching through 50,000+ members' crap. Do a search for Art Monk HOF or Hall of fame and see what you get?

I like the idea of what your trying to say here, I too just think that its it could have been said differently. :2cents:

Also, I had missed any previous discussion on this topic too The Sir, thanks for posting it. :)

Speaking of Roger Craig, compare his career stats to those of Earnest Byner and you realize how good a RB Byner was. Why no Byner for HOF campaigns? On the topic of Monk, everyone says he didn't have play big in big games, but his playoff stats compare well to those of Gary Clark, Michael Irvin, Andre Reed, and James Lofton. Only Irvin's stats are a bit better, and he played most of his games in the easier post-91 passing rules.
