View Full Version : Question for the "Wise" on ordering an authentic jersey

Gents (and ladies)-
I've finally decided to order an authentic online, but noticed that even NFL.com is out of certain sizes.
Do you guys know if the skins are tweaking the Uni's at all? Seems that all the online stores are running low on the authetics you can personalize. Maybe the strips
Also, what's the rule on retired players? If I ordered a Monk or Riggo or Grimm. Will they do that?
Thanks in advance

Bufford, I just checked Reebok.com that is where I order my authentic jerseys from and they are not offering them right now, I did find size 50 in burgundy for 291.00 that you can customize.
Yes you can order retired players I have ordered a Hanburger & Ken Houston

I saw that also.
But, why are the other sizes gone?
Something doesn't feel right.

I know I don't know what is going on, but Dan could make allot more money if they were more readily available directly from them.

Bufford,
I have no idea about sizing, but I got my authentic from bestsportsapparel.com for around $250, so once you've discovered what the issue is, that's the best place (that I've found) to get jerseys.

authentic? How did it look?
I emailed the Skins store to ask why NFL.com was running low. No response.

a 50 fits me fine, but I think a medium (48) would look the best. Not all baggy.
I tried on a 48 Sean Taylor at the Mall. Its the best for me.

It looked great IMO and was a bona fide authentic as far as I can tell.
I can pull a picture of it from "Show Yourselves" if you'd like.

Because it's the off season, Reebok.com and other major suppliers are out of stock, especially with the larger sizes. As much as it may pain you, waiting until closer to the start of next season may be your best option.

Again, I've got several other major outlet sources which are all sold out right now. These appear to still be available.

What about throwbacks? Are there any places to order throwbacks of Riggo or Manley?

You might be best served to put out the extra few bucks to buy a Riggo from Mitchell and Ness. Not sure you can find a Manley there, but I got my D. Williams and Riggins from Mitchell and Ness, and they're not only authentic, they're made to the style of the time period they were used in.
Try www.mitchellandness.com (http://www.mitchellandness.com) and see what it nets you.
