I dont make it a habbit to want guys from teams that took us out of the Playoffs but Ive always admired this guy since he was with the Gints to his days with the Bucs and now Seattle. Besides this guy has the size that weve been looking for the past couple of seasons.. 6'5" 230lbs. come on

He becomes a FA tonight (right?)

Just my thoughts of course
what do you guys think??

He becomes a free agent tomorrow night. Saturday 12:01 AM is the start of FA.

He's got volleyball hands.

There's a reason he's been bounced around the league for his entire career.

He's a b-up.

Jurevicius would be a very good free agent pickup...
I doubt anybody would seriously agree this fact...
But, he doesn't seem to fit (in my opinion) the Gibbs type of WR...
I believe Isaac Bruce fits this a bit better...
Maybe, Coach Saunders will have some input...
We'll have to wait and see...
Only a couple of days away...

Not a bad idea; just depends on his price.

I'd rather have Antonio Bryant. Younger, more potential, hates Parcells.

good call Riggo

in response to the thread, he seems like the type of guy who will resign with Seattle because they gave him a chance last season

and to say dude has bad hands, you obviously didn't watch the playoffs

I love all the guys that hate on Jurevicius.

He's bigger and a better route runner than Antonio Bryant and has none of the character issues.

He's going to cost 1/2 as much as Givens, has better hands and better concentration

(these are not my assesments, read the Scouts Inc profiles on these guys before you all become enamored with them).

Also Jurevicius has been to the SB with every team he's been with (NYG, TB and Sea).

Big, strong, good route runner, able and eager blocker, large redzone target. These are things that Jurevicius is that Bryant, Givens and Bruce are not and never will be.

As for his age, he's 31. So what, sign him for a 3 year contract with a nice SB to prorate thought his tenure so his base salary is low. Your renting a solid #2 to get the team over the hump and win another SB for Joe not investing in the future. Thats what the draft is for.
