It could be a double whammy to. TO to Dallas and Key to Philly. How funny would that be? I'll answer that.

There was no way Key and T.O. could co-exist.

It would be awesome if dallas thought they were ganna get TO and cut Keyshawn and then TO goes to like Denver!!!!! i would be laughing so hard

They cut Keyshawn because they knew he and TO couldn't co-exist on the same team. This pretty much guarantees to me that TO is going to be a cowboy before the week is over.

King you read my mind. On Eagles Live, they were hinting to siggning a WR either via trade or if some one was cut. If the Eagles front office signs Johnson I swear.....in fact King, I'll put it in bold....
" If the Philadelphia Eagles sign Key Johnson, I will take a picture of myself in downtown Philadelphia on the steps of the art museum, with a Dallas Cowboys jersey on with Washington Redskin face paint holding a sign that says.........IF GIBBS IS GOD, THEN PARCELLS IS CHRIST!"

I seriously cannot believe the Cowboys are considering T.0.
I've always had a lot of respect for Bill Parcells... same with Andy Reid. But I'm discouraged that they would both compromise their values for a player like T.0.
As a coach myself... who looked up to both of them... I'm disappointed.

Boys release Keyshawn, TO probably on the way
Most likely good for the Skins, TO is like a cancer.

I'm willing to bet this is all Parcell's ego. He probably thinks he can intimidate TO into being a team player the way he has done other malcontents in the past. IMO, whether he does or not it should be pretty entertaining to watch them on the sidelines on game day.

DH, sometime you gotta sell your soul if you want to win....
The Caps signed Jagr
The Bulls signed Rodman
The Yankees signed Wells
The Red Sox Manny
Sometimes, if you really really want to win, the upside outways the downsides!

i hope keyshawn ends somewhere far far away from the east coast. TO on the other hand expects that drew will be his QB that solves his problems. Dallas would be the stupid team that decides to get TO to outdo us... i guess we'll see what happens

N5 don't do that to yourself. You don't have to. With the luck we're having this offseason the Redskins will trade for Walker and we'll end up signing Johnson.

I was about to say somethig about how we survived TO in the division so far...but then I thought: we were 0-2 against Eagles w/ TO and 2-0 against them without him.
Yeah, I hope he winds up in Denver too.
But c'mon...why else would they be releasing Keyshawn?

I have such a bad feeling about this.....such a bad feeling.......
No worries, man. Shawn Springs showed in Seattle and here that he can be counted on to shut down TO. They're about the same age, they'll decline together, we've got TO covered. Let him rip that locker room apart (ok, that's wishful thinking, I don't think he'll be able to pull **** with the Tuna around).

I agree, with the release of Keyshawn, TO seems like a very good upgrade. And by no means is it good for TO to still be in the NFCE. Even when McNabb and TO weren't talking in minicamps, they came through during the season. Although, that had a lot to do with McNabb's character. However, I don't see Bledsoe ignoring TO simply because he has a grudge against the guy. But since we're also comparing QBs, TO is leaving a pass happy offense. Even when McNabb was playing through that sports hernia, they still went through the air. The Cowboys don't have McNabb and they do have Julius Jones, their featured back.

Possible defense for it being posted here is that it was Dallas and not Denver, or Atlanta, etc.
So it a way, it is Redskins related since they are
1) arch-rivals
and
2) arch-rivals that Skins play twice a year or more.

I was reading earlier that chances are he's going to end up going to Denver instead of Dallas, but with the release of Keshawyn i'm sure Jerry Jones has something up his sleeve, I hope he doesn't plan on promoting terry glen to be his #1 next year...i'd feel bad for him getting double teamed by either taylor or archuleta. I'm sure he would prefer AA considering his past with Taylor.
:cheers:Here's to Terry Glen getting pounded next year!!

Dallas is stupid for releasing Keyshawn already, as it means they are clearly going for TO. This means that Dallas is going to have to pay out the ASS for him. It's going to be great watching TO destroy yet another franchise.

Cowboy fans better pray that Dallas signs TO. I truly think that TO will end up in Dallas. If Dallas does not get TO, I am going to laugh my A## off. I was laughing when Philly didn't get Bentley (even thought I think he may have snubbed), but if Dallas doesn't get TO, dear god!!!
