Probably should change the thread title to something about the Boys, as the Vikes thing has already been posted.

Tags announced it at the owners meeting press conf.

Just off the top of my head I believe he announced
Thurs. Sept. 7 Miami at Pittsburgh
Sunday Sept. 10 Dallas at Jacksonville (Nationally televised)
Monday Sept. 11 Minnesota at Washington
San Diego at Oakland
Thanksgiving Miami at Detroit
Tampa at Dallas
Denver(?) at KC

Kind of happy that the Skins don't play on T-Giving Day.

A win would be fantastic, but it's not worth the risk of ruining the holiday.

Don't worry. I remember back in '74 when, even after Roger Staubach was knocked out of the game, Dallas won in the last 30 seconds. It was the first time I ever saw the Redskins lose. Yeah, I'm glad we DON'T play T-day!

I'm glad we're not playing on Turkey Day...it's a tough one to manage with the family since I can't get tickets for everybody!

This is weird, because the NFL network had already released to the press that the Redskins/Cowboys Thanksgiving Night game would be their first Live game broadcast. I wonder who got things mixed up, the Official network or the retiring commish???

Boy, some people on this board jumped the gun big time saying we were playing the Cowpies on Thanksgiving this year.

Actually that's good our record on turkey day isn't terribly impressive I don't know maybe they eat too much turkey before the game or they thinking about that turkey dinner..

The one who got things mixed-up would be whoever posted the rumor on the message board that you were reading.
