I don't expect good things, tonight. We're playing a back-to-back road games against a team that was off last night.
My hope is that it doesn't get ugly.

We can beat these guys. Just gotta match their intensity. The Kings should still be MAD :cuss: about that BUTT WHUPPIN :whippin: they took when they came to DC.

expect sac to be playing their guts out tonight, they are battling for the 8th spot in the west with little room to spare

Well, it's what I think and it's also the reason why I said last night's game was a must win.
This isn't a scenario where you'd expect a good result. Games like this, the NBA puts one team at a strategic advantage over the other team and, in this situation, that disadvantaged team isn't expected to win. If we win this game, it will be one of the biggest wins of the season.

I think we keep it close but fail to pull it out late.
But we should manage 3-3 on this road trip.

We gotta play very well against the pick and roll . The Kings are great in it ....and have a deadly shooter in Mike Bibby . You also gotta watch out for Brad Miller once he rolls.

I was impressed that this team was mature enough to not only understand what they needed to do last night, but they actually did it. They came out with a fire and built a cushion.
I think we are maturing and I expect the same things from them tonight.
If I was EJ I would start Etan again. I think you get more out of him that way. He is better starter then bench player. Secondly, he is faster up and down the court and he is more aggressive as a shot blocker and banger. This helps you jump on a team which you have to do on the road. I'd expect to see Etan starting more down the stretch.
Start Etan again.
We have more then we did last night. Caron was in early foul trouble so I look for his legs to be more rested and him to be more eager then the more tired players so compared to a regular back to back, I think we have a little more in the tank.
I few weeks back when a lot of people were down on AD, I said I think he is one of 2 pieces where we could expect to get some upside. The other was JJ being more aggressive. Well, AD has settled in and I think most people like what he adds to this team. As for JJ. What I saw him do last night is such as tease.
If he was on a team that ran and hit the trailer more, he would be a great finisher and that would build his confidence. He already matured by being confident in his ball handing skills and the team trust him to bring it up court. Now he needs to do 2 things. Get a few more transition slams and hit his free throws. This would get him the next level. Then I think he would be more aggressive one on one driving and hitting more outside shots. He has shown he CAN make the 3 but he either hit it or it's off so he isn't getting a ton a confidence from those shots.
It's hard to give up on him because you can just see what he could do at 6-11 but it has been a slow process.

Caron's fake on that fast break was an old Pistol Pete move. I saw that on an old basketball tape and have been doing it ever since. It's actually pretty easy if the ball has the right grip.
Also, Jared Jeffries has been playing like an animal lately. Did anyone else see the D4L dance move that he did after one of his dunks against Golden State? Jared Jeffries is tight. The Wizards have so many stud athletes. I think that we have a shot at the East if someone else upsets Miami.
Caron just got nailed.

Freakin amazing win.
No Gibby, Caronemon got injured, at Arco to what seemed a capacity crowd, with a tough Sacto team lookin to avenge a home loss...
This is a freaking character team, which I knew for a while, but we have lacked consistency. Is this us turning the corner? I think so, though I think we have passed the corner for a while, only we occasionally return to it ;). We won with defense, hustle, and HUGE plays from Etan, JJ, and Billy Boy. Etan usually played one good game followed by 8-12 bad ones, but with 2 in a row under his belt, he IS due :). And JJ has been a revelation guys, he is our Tayshaun Prince right now, between his defense, big play ability, and higher basketball IQ than expected, THIS is the sort of complete team that we need.
The mythical 20/10 big man... don't even worry about him
If we can match this intensity down the stretch (A huge if), I expect great things from these guys.
