We could really use Brendan Haywood tonight...at least his size could help...Gil has 7 assists, so that's good when his shot isn't falling. :)

Yao is more than quality though (he's arguably the best Center in the league), and our starting "center" is out. Etan gives up too much height, and I think we've got Jared now trying to cover him. Add in the fact that Gil is obviously still suffering from illness, and I'd say they played a decent game. Still within 3 with a minute to go!

Damn.....That was a great look..We got just what we wanted, which was a wide open 3 pointer that would have won it..If we had to do it over im sure thats the same shot we would have took, and Jamison probaly would have drained it..That shots almost automatic...****

Get Donnell Taylor out of the game in the fourth quarter. Why wouldn't you put Billy Thomas in the game when you know Gilbert is going to drive and possible kick out for a jumper. If you are able to get a wide open 12-footer from the baseline, you need to take that shot. EJ should have known that Taylor would be tentative after he dribbled the ball off his leg on the prior possession.

I like the way this team is maturing.


JJ did nice things again. The is huge for us any time he takes another step in his game.

AD is solid. Gil has been showing more passing skills which will matter come playoff time.

Some of the younger guys are getting more confident.

Etan is playing nice.

So we didn't have our height and Gil was sick.

Lost by 2 on the road to Houston and AJ had the look he wanted. I can live with that.
