Wizard are at the bucks tonight at 8:00. This game will be huge in clinching a playoff spot. Hopefully Caron will play:applause:

If Butler and Etan play, we win.
If one of them are out, it will be very close.
If both are out, we lose big.

i think if Etan doesnt play and Caron does, we will pretty easily.
If Etan plays and Caron doesn't we'll lose

Basically, we need Caron to play tonight. I'm hyped for the game, but if they tell me Butler isn't playing before the game starts, I'll be pretty deflated.

Great to see Jared continuing the good play. 11 pts in the 1st quarter? Hell yeah. hands11, no doubt this guy has the potential..lets just hope he can reach it. I've seen more out of him the past few games than I have in all of his previous games before this recent stretch. You can tell he is getting a little swagger out there.

his defense is excellent, any offense out of him is a bonus. i would like to see him rebound more. id be pleased with 8 ppg as and 7 rebounds, he brings the defense. as i said, any points is just a bonus

OK I got the starting lineup.....Arenas, Butler(when he comes back), Jamison, Ruffin, Thomas. With Daniels, Taylor, Jeffries, Blatche and Haywwod off the bench. #35 and the another in the mix to provide some spell minutes for the big men.

April-12th-2006, 07:48 PM
Well we need to start stepping it up on offense, were slackin some and giving up some easy baskets on D

I can't believe I'm saying this but....
...we need to run our Offense through Jared Jeffries more.
Yeah shock shock, but he's about the only guy thats playing really well consistently right about now. I think tonight will mark his 3rd straight game where he'll be setting a new career high.
We could be on the verge of missing the playoffs. Our remaining schedule is brutal and we could lose them all. After tonight we are at Chicago, vs. Cleveland, vs. Milwaukee, and at Detroit(I don't know if that order).
The Pacers and Bulls have fairly easy schedules, I don't know about the Bucks but theres is not as hard as ours. The good thing is the 76ers schedule is pretty rough too, but since they just destroyed the Nets tonight I don't know if that will matter.
Oh well, a top 14 draft pick may help us out more than a 1st round playoff loss.
TheREALJBird
April-12th-2006, 08:55 PM
Well all I know is if we keep playing like this into the playoffs, we may very well lose the first rd.

I can't believe how this team is fading like it is. We need to step it up now.

I don't think we're going to win this one. We aren't playing good enough defense, allowing penetration to the hoop. I hope they prove me wrong, but I'm not too optimistic.

Man and we get stuck with the ****ing Bulls on Friday.
I wouldn't be surprised if they completely blew us out of the water.
I'm expecting a 20-30 point loss.

April-12th-2006, 09:35 PM
Why does Gilbert pull that same move every single time at the end of a half? Dribble, dribble, dribble, until there's about 8 seconds on the shot clock, then drive like a demon? Can't everyone see that coming? I don't mind him doing it, but EVERY SINGLE TIME? Call a play once in a while!
jwebst1
April-12th-2006, 09:35 PM
hard to believe this team could still finish at .500 or below... unreal.
BayouBrave86
April-12th-2006, 09:37 PM
I have a feeling Jordan is just resting Caron until he needs to play him and after tonight, Caron needs to be playing Friday. We are in serious jeopardy of missing the playoffs now.

Meh, I hate losing man.. hate it.

April-12th-2006, 09:38 PM
When is Caron going to be back? Obviously if he would be able to play if these were playoff games, he should play now. These games will determine whether we're playing Cleveland in the playoffs (a team we can beat), or one of the top 3 that could possibly embarass us. **** your damn thumb, suit your ass up and play!
Big C
April-12th-2006, 09:39 PM
we would have to go 3-1 or 4-0 to end the season to finish above .500 now, i dont think that is happening. and believe it or not, we are only 2 games above 8th and 9th place, and 1 game out of 6th and 7th! this is bad
Phixius
April-12th-2006, 09:45 PM
Forget the playoffs. As long as they are inconsistent they never be a great team. If we manage to get to the playoffs we'll lose in the 1st round. I know we beat Cleveland before but seriously they are a much better team. They going to carry that momentum into the playoffs.
BayouBrave86
April-12th-2006, 09:59 PM
If Caron is healthy, we will beat Cleveland..this is..if we can hold onto the 5th spot. It sucks that we have lost 4 straight because it is seems to be hiding the fact that Jared J has been playing great bball lately.
Big C
April-12th-2006, 10:00 PM
it doesnt matter if we are a great team or not right now. we need to get into the playoffs to gain the experience of being there once again. only experienced teams win the big prize. we will continue to get better if we make the playoffs, it will be 2nd year in a row, we are starting to establish ourselves in the east, as easy as that is. that is important when bringing in free agents.
