I don't know after that moment in Wizards history I think Gil has earned the right for a couple of "off nights."

Gilbert's calf/achilees was injured. This is the only reason he was shooting jumpers instead of driving to the hoop. And besides that, you are talking as if he was hogging the ball. He BARELY TOUCHED it down the stretch! He should have been shooting it more.

Jared Jeffries should have called timeout when he got the rebound, but I can't expect a poorly coached team to know what to do in the clutch.

I can't believe you guys are blaming Gilbert Arenas for the loss when the reason we lost is solely because Eddie Jordan doesn't know how to get his team to play defense on the perimeter. We were up 87-81 before we decided to allow the 3pt barrage.

Chicago is very simple: They set moving screens so their shooters can shoot their set shots. The key is to make them put the ball on the floor and shoot on the move because they're not nearly as effective as when you let them sit behind the arc and campout on the dribble drive penetration/screens/ and moving picks. Yet we saw the same darn thing all game long.

That's what I call excellent coaching and adjustment!

Gil was not the problem tonight, or the other 3 nights we lost. The problem was the dumb shots and decisions the players around him made.

Eddie Jordan should've laid into Jeffries for not calling a timeout. Instead, he just stood there in a stupor like he was imagining himself as a real head coach with balls.

I'm in the "fire eddie jordan" club now. Do I get a t-shirt?

In my opinion if you think that you must be crazy, Gilbert should be shooting the ball..If Gilberts doesn't shoot the ball and we lose..You are probaly going to start a thread that he should be more agressive and shoot more..Some people need to think about threads before they make them..

Dude wtf? Gilbert is the sole reason we are even in the ****ing playoff hunt. Posts like this are retarded. Gilbert is the ****ing man. It's sad to see some of you don't realize that. We got screwed over by a bad call tonight. STFU we're still makin the playoffs.

You know, I could stoop to your level and say something just as ignorant as the nonsense you just posted. Or I could talk about how teams like the Pistons, fired Rick Carlisle who took them to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, hired a better coach and got a championship out of the whole thing.

But why bother, you're probably not smart enough to get it anyway. :D

Just coming back to this post to apologize for my post last night. I was heavily under the influence last night. We are still making the playoffs though and to roast Gilbert like this was just unbelievable to me. I personally think we still get the 5th seed.

You could make the arguement that because of Detroit's chemistry they won it.. they have been together for a long time now. Look at this year.. even with Brown out, and Flip in, and they still haven't lost a step (probably better)..

Look, i'm not saying Eddie Jordan will take us to the promise land.. but I dunno, I don't think he's the problem.. We need depth.
