81. The Wiz
Gilbert Arenas gets no respect because he plays like he's in a pickup game, with his pull-up-from-anywhere J and his one-on-five drives to the hoop -- and because of his quirky behavior. But he's so damn good he's expanding the definition of "point guard," like it or not. -- ESPN.com

i think i speak for all of us when i say " I AGREE "
the man does play like its a pickup game but then again, he sometimes has more assist then usual, meaning hes growing and maturing as a player...

The refs will learn and adjust as time goes on. Gil is great with the fans so there is no reason DS wouldnt get behind him. Its just the difference between going into the league highly ranked or being an underdog on a good team and being basically a no name "#0" on a bad team that is up and coming.
If we already had a star here, he would have gotten more of the benefit of the doubt quicker. Last years playoff run put him on the map. He didn't do that well in his first all star game, or against Chicago in the playoffs, so that didn't help. Now we are in the playoffs again. He will gain more fans. More people will see how amazing he is. His game keeps getting better. Give is a little more time and he will get all the calls we think he should. This years playoff run will help a lot. Specially when he pulls moves like he did last night. 1 drive, no call. 2nd drive, fouled but not called while shooting, so he jams it down their throat one last time just to make the point.
THAT WAS AMAZING. When the whole country gets to see him do that kind of stuff, he will have arrived.
