Arrington I have no hatred for. Just disappointment that he never was able to overcome his own demons and become the disciplined leader that Ray Lewis or Junior Seau were for their clubs in their primes :(

But I never bought his jersey because he rarely lived up to the hype. He would really start talking the week of playing the Cowboys or Eagles and then the team would lose the game and he would be caught out of position for easy scores.

Fans of other teams were laughing at him, with his chest all pumped out but no victories to show for it.

In the end, I never could relate the player we saw on TV and the offseason with the player that showed up on Sundays.

He almost always disappointed. Except when he was brought in to play in 2005 from a reserve role where nothing was expected of him, and he produced some nice plays.

But after spending $20 million on him and using the #2 pick overall on his selection, didn't we deserve more than that 5 years in? :)

Yup. My mom sent me a Smoot jersey for Christmas before he signed with the Vikings. So I took my #36 Taylor and my #21 Smoot. And a delicate razor and WHAMMOOO. After a quick trip to the tailors I had a #21 Taylor jersey.

Just got mine back from them. They do excellent work, my #56 is now my last name and I will have it forever. Highly recomend Cheseldine for any jersey work needed. They will not dissapoint. They sent back the removed nameplate " Arrington" as well, I plan on tossing it at Fedex field on Dec 30th
