JAi Lewis was just on cold pizza this AM and he said after his workout most teams had him as a prospective O line Tackle or DE. He is 6'5" 297Lbs and ran a 4.99 40. He played TE and DE in high school. There is a good chance he won't get drafted and will sign with a team as free agent. He seems to slow and heavy right now to fit into the pass recieving TE mold as was intially predicted.

topic has been beaten to death but here goes again..

Per KFFL "Aaron Wilson, of the Carroll County Times, reports George Mason TE/OL/DL Jai Lewis struggled during his workout. He dropped several passes and struggled to perform in the agility drills. One of the teams in attendance was the New Orleans Saints."

Late round project and nothing more.

We need LB, S, CB, O and D line depth before him.

This was a cute idea but a 300 pound guy who has not played football in four year is not ready for the NFL.

UDFA pickup at most, if the redskins are interested, which they may not be. Would make a great story, and I hope that he succeeds in the NFL, but i don't see wasting a draft pick on him when most likely no one else will.

I watched part of his workout on Comcast. Not impressed at ALL. This is a joke and he will NEVER play a down in a regular season game. Please don't forget how little football experience he has.

dimond in the rough. he has the athletic ability. everyone saw it in the run in the NCAA tourney. if he was a jokw why are teams looking at him? mabye your smarter than the scouters for these professonal teams. chances are your not and thats why your not an NFL scout.

I told you guys from the beginning that he's a developmental o-line prospect, not a TE. Believe me now?

he's worth taking a chance on as an UDFA. he's got athleticism and under an NFL training staff he could blossom

I think he could be a really good OT with the right training, but at the same time I think he could develop into a good DE

Eek, no thanks, unless we pick him up as a UDFA.

If he didn't go to a D1 school as a football player teams shouldn't mess with him. It's a waste of time. Funny how a final four appearance makes a basketball player a draft "project".

I'm beginning to dislike Antonio Gates. He's responsible for all of these threads. :2cents:

Can we draft Lebron james and make him quit basketball and play Wr for us? We need a big possession receiver.

NFL scouts also looked at Brock Lesnar and most people I talked to said they were morons. Turned out my local group of alcoholic Redskin buddies knew a whole lot more than the scouts were on that one.

Simple fact is in today's game the scouts scout everybody and their grandmother searching for a diamond in the rough.

Here is an analogy for ya...
Just cause a girl looks at ya doesn't mean you are good looking or she is interested. Sometimes she just looks at you.
