Joe Toledo was converted from TE to LT for the Washington Huskies. What if we drafted him as a blocking tight end and back up Tackle? He is moving up the draft board from 7th to FA to a 5th to 6th round pick

Joe Toledo
Height: 6-5 1/2 | Weight: 337 | 40-Time: 5.11

Official Bio

Strengths:
Has good size and a big frame...Has a huge upside...An outstanding athlete with exceptional quickness...Has extremely nimble feet and very quick hands...Can play in space and get to the second level...Versatile and can play multiple positions.

Weaknesses:
Has only one year of experience at the position...Still very raw and needs a lot of work, especially in the technique department...There might be some durability concerns...Needs to continue to bulk up and get stronger...A boom or bust type.

Notes:
Played tight end his first four years at Washington...Just moved to the offensive line in 2005 when he took over for Khalif Barnes and showed a lot of promise and potential...Strictly a long-term developmental guy but he certainly has the tools.

That is one big-ass tight end. The versatility is worth a gamble.

we should trade our 5th and 2 6ths for a 4th.

I think Toledo will drop to the 5th or the 6th. A perfect fit for us makes him more valuable. At TE a good player to pick up LA on the blitz

I don't know why but everytime I see "Joe Toledo", I think of "Ron Mexico". Just me...but I get a chuckle.

Hilarious name but pretty slow... Jai lewis ran a 4.9 something 40 and he looked really slow when i watched him... this guy is a 6th rounder

I dont think that works out point wise. As for teh player...if he is around in the 6th i say we take him. I would rather pick up another corner in the 5th.

Toledo would be a good backup tackle prospect. But will he be there in the bottom of the 5th round?

His 5.11 forty time for a tackle is good. It would not be good for a TE. Jansen only runs about a 5.25 forty by comparison and Dockery's forty is about 5.35.
