The kid sounds like a beast, my little brother is almost like that. He is 16 and is 5' 11'' 240lb, benches 315 and squats...I don't know but something in the 405++ range. He is a defensive end though, his 40' time is like 5.0 or 5.1 so he doesn't play RB.

Wow, the kid sounds like a "mini-Bus" to me. Advice to anyone trying to tackle him. Go low! :D

Those things sound and look good but it doesn't mean he is a great football player. Brandon Royster who went to Fairfax years ago had all the measurables and was a smart kid but just wasn't a football player He shined in Highschool but then I believe he went to stanford and did nada.

Very true. There is a difference in Brute strength and football strength.

Also in absorbing the pounding, I've known several weightroom warriors quit from the abuse your body takes.

Well he looks good on paper and he is a GREAT football player and wont give up until he has two broken legs or cant remember who he is.
Or run away.

he's got the right size and physical gifts...hopefully he is getting the proper coaching. If he learns to lean and not run straight-up he will punish people!
Hope to see him on Sunday afternoons someday.
