I know that the story about Arenas was posted, but personally, I found Wilbon's article hilarious. Gilbert is quoted as saying:
" 'Do you have tattoos?' I said, 'Yes, I have three.' And then, 'What is your street name?' I laughed. Of course I laughed. My street name? What? Okay, it's Zero Hero. [Arenas wears "0" on his Wizards jersey.]
He's hilarious, and Miami is stupid. anyways - you all should check out this article. its good

Haha, Arenas is officially my favorite player. I love the fact that he quoted Anchorman.

Ummm, the star player of the local NBA team got arrested in Miami for no discernible reason. That seems to me to be a perfectly good topic to do a column on.
Anyway, what do the Miami police have against Washington athletes? Jose Guillen and Alexander Ovechkin better stay the hell out of that city...

Arenas is done with Florida. He's selling his Miami property.

That's pretty funny article. Resisting arrest without violence? How does one resist arrest without violence? That's a pretty weak reason to throw someone in the clink.

NBA Playoffs? NHL Playoffs? French Open? Hell, SPELLING BEE? ( okay... )
Who cares about Jose Guillen? Chad Cordero and Ryan Zimmerman should stay away from Miami.

Folks hate to break it to you,but Miami is not known to be tolerate to those of a "darker" hue. Gil was arrested on some bogus bs by a police depatment and city that does not care for a large influx of African American party-goers.

Gil is awesome. He has a personality that you just don't normally see in pro athletes. I thrilled he plays for the wiz. That anchor man quote was great and instead of having that self destructive instinct many have, he's selling the joint and sticking to areas that provide less trouble for him. :applause:
