Man, I love 82Games.com. It has stats on EVERYTHING.
Here are some stats on And 1s, the old fashioned 3.
http://www.82games.com/andone.htm
In 05, Gil was 6th in the league in 3-Point Play Attempts, converting 68& of them.
This past season, Gil was 8th in 3-Point Play Attempts, but converted a whooping 85%. He was 3rd in actual 3-Point Plays converted, but his % was higher than all but Dirk and Yao, or at least all but one of the ones among the top.
For all the talk of Lebron and Wade taking it the hoop for the And 1, they don't do it as well as our own Gil. Once again, underappreciation.
Here are some stats on Offensive Fouls drawn.

Gil, for all the talk of not being able to play D, was 29th this past season in drawing offensive fouls. (Daniels was 16th, Haywood 20th) At the least, this proves Gil is putting in the effort to play D.
Here are some stats on player to player passing:
http://www.82games.com/feeders0506.htm
Look whos at #3. It's Gil's PASSING to Jamison. Gil to Jamison was #3 in the league. They're also #2 in assisted FG made together, although it's mostly Gil to Jamison again.
Jamison to Gil is #2 in assisted FG%, and Gil to Jamison is #4 in assisted FG%, in other words they are helping each other big time. This also debunks the "Gil is a ballhog" myth. If you can get open and score, he'll get you the ball.
(Big surprise was Daniels to Jamison being 10th, Jamison was helped bigtime from Daniels's presence).
Here are some stats on scoring by quarter:
http://www.82games.com/random26.htm
Gil's a slow starter compared to his peers, 7th in 1st quarter scoring and 5th in 3rd quarter. But from then he gets deadly,4th in 3rd quarter scoring and he is absolutely lethal in the 4th quarter, behind only Kobe and Lebron.
Here are some stats on steals:
http://www.82games.com/random24.htm
Gil is top 10 in both being able to steal passes and pickpocket his opponent. 10th in stolen passes and 8th in stolen dribbles. 82Games overall steal ranks puts Gil as the 6th best at Steals
(Coincidentially, the Wiz as a team 4th in the league in fewest passes stolen, and Gil is NOT top 5 in passes stolen, ironically Steve Nash is #1.)
