Read below - Bynum is an interesting prospect as well at Center...

Tell you something else to discount totally that's being floated out there by wastes of space. Wizard owner Abe Pollin, back to work after a month or so of poor health, is not holding off on extending Eddie Jordan's contract in order to pounce on Larry Brown when (not if) the Knicks finally cut the umbilical cord. Washington is very pleased with how Jordan has guided the team to two straight postseasons and has every intention of retaining him past next season.

The Lakers are looking at Kwame Brown exclusively as a center, meaning Andrew Bynum can be had. The question is, for what/ Since he has no college experience and only one unrevealing year of pro ball, nobody really knows what the New Jersey 7-footer is worth . . . If you believe the media (I never have), the Knicks have placed a gag order on Next Town Brown - a natural progression from the gag season he placed on the rest of us.

If Vescey says Jordan is probably not going to get fired, it most likely means...Eddie it was nice knowing you!

No really, I don't think Vescey has ever prognosticated anything right.

Why the Vescey hate? He's waaay more entertaining that Wilbon or un-Wise.

I'm fairly certain we've been talking to the Lakers about Bynum... remember... Etan is a great friend of Kwame... I'd rather lose haywood personally, but really both are pretty chumpalicious.;)

edit:
Did anybody see Bynum facial Shaq last season? He didn't get in the games much, but the kid turned 18 like the day before the draft last year, so even at 7 foot 300, he is still a baby in NBA terms. I wonder what he'll look like in a year?

 People are making it look like it was a huge facial, Bynum just outstepped Shaq, now what Shaq did to Bynum was a facial.

Here is the link to the Bynum/Shaq video. You have to respect a 17 year old kid who comes in, bodies up on Shaq, gets dunked on, comes back to dunk on Shaq, and then exchanges bumps/elbows. The kid wasn't ready last year to be a steady contributor, but I love the fact that he wasn't scared, and had a pretty versatile move in the post (at 17!).

Thanks for the link man, I guess the dunk got built up in my head over the last few months.

It was a nice dropstep though. I probably would have :pooh: my pants if shaq did that to me. Oh well, thats what you get for trying to guard shaq before you have armpit hair.

There is no way that the Lakers are going to give up a body like Bynum, unless they think that he has really serious flaws that can't be overcome.
