Seems like it'd be too late at this juncture anyway. I mean the draft is less than a week away.

Thank God. EJ may not be the greatest thing since sliced bread but at least he'll give Gilbert 40+ minutes a game.

Larry Brown has said that he's not coaching this year and I don't think we want to change our momentum that we have going with this team. Jordan has made this team one of the best offenses in the league. We are a solid defensive big man from making a huge run in the postseason. We also have a lot of potential past next season with jamisons contract being up we will be able to re-sign him for a lot less if he wants to come back, or sign another big name player. Larry Brown is good at making a team good in 2 seasons with players who have bad character by making them more team orriented, or just exploding the team. I don't think he will help this team that much. Maybe UMD could use him but not the wizards.

Brown would be incredible here....Dont get upset....He got shafted by that Marbury-lover Thomas and Marbury's pet owner Dolan....Thomas paid WAAAAAAYYYYYY too much for everyone on that roster and look what it got them....Thomas can not recognize talent even when it is on top of him, giving him the biggest patootie-kicking the world has ever known.....The Wizards stayed under the cap and went to the playoffs the last 2 years.....Hmmmmm....EG may not be the best GM but he has us in a good place that can get get better with the addition of a real PF and C this year.... I said that last year to everyone I know that cares about sports and EG disappointingly did nothing.... so I expect the same this year.

Shafted? Brown isn't anything special IMO... EJ is so young I think we give EJ 3 more years to work it out.

I think they are just waiting on EJ to try and bargain with him, lord knows why Pollin won't just pay the man.

BTW Thats cool that Brown said he isn't coaching, it makes me feel better. I heard that the Bobcats might take him next season and move bickerstaff to GM full time.

So few coaches in the league have developed talent like Eddie has - if he could just get one decent C/PF to stay healthy for the year things would be real different. Plus, remember where we came from... No reason to get greedy right away. We have been getting better..

I am interested in how we got better this past year....

If I remember correctly we lost more games this year than last and got bounced by a worse team in an earlier round of the playoffs, not to mention we lost a good defensive bench G and a good offensive bench G (and both to Portland) in an attempt to upgrade the position for another that never completely caught on....AD stunk for most of the season....Is he doing his Jagr spoiled brat imitation or was it a case of just being old and taking too long to adjust?

EG refused to get any talent at PF and C last year and we got clobbered for it....I dont expect EG to get Saer Sene because he is too talented. He will just draft a couple more G's and call it a day. He wont care about their talent too much because they wont make the team....the second rounder might just so we can further downgrade the G situation. EG is a decent manager but right now I am getting more and more pessimitic about his judgement. I hope he can surprise me and pick up Saer Sene and one of the other big international players which we worked out that look good in their draft reports. I hope we dont go for any NCAA kids....they have no sense of defense.
