They updated the Mock on Friday - and ya'll know this is my favorite NBA scouting site so....


Mardy Collins dropped to the 2nd round - I know there was someone on here that is a big Owls fan.

We still are taking Alex Johnson so I'm happy. I forget who we are supposed to be taking in the 2nd, but check it out for yourself:

PS: It says team needs have not been taken into account... but they were on the last Mock and this one looks about right as far as teem needs would be, but I dunno maybe they just put the wrong disclaimer up top. :whoknows: Or maybe they got lucky.

I love the pick of Darius Washington. This kid was supposed to go late 1st round right out of high school, but opted for college. He also has great character, and is a very hard worker.

No way we are drafting Rondo. I am starting to think that because his hands are so big, he will never be able to become a good shooter (kind of like Shaq's situation).

How in the **** have we been drafting Alexander Johnson when teem needs *haven't* been taken into account, but then when they are WE ARE DRAFTING RONDO.

Well... maybe it is just a smoke screen so other teams don't trade up for Johnson? It very well could be...

In ESPN The magazine they said their Mock was based on "Inside Info" and it had us taking Rondo, maybe it is noise Ernie is putting out there to bluff so we don't have to trade up?

I hate the rondo pick because its him that we would be picking but I do understand the picking of the position based on our roster. We really dont have a true point guard coming off the bench especially if Daniels starts or gets alot of PT. But if it is rondo at least we would prolly have the best on the ball defender in the draft and probably would become the best on the ball defender on the Wiz.

I don't mind getting someone who's a great defender but we already have a good defender who can't contribute much of anything on offense in Jeffries.

We need someone who can both play defense and not hold us back on offense. Bobby Jones in Round 2 is perfect.
