If we were to lose Jeffries... would a good fit be a sign and trade for David Lee?
I like Lee, he is a banger with plus athleticism kinda like Varejao, or Ruffin but can finish at the hoop.
I also like the fact that Lee is an overachiever but has really awesome athleticism, kinda like Ben Wallace does...
He also is a true ambidextrous, which is nice with a big man...
I dunno... but if we were to lose Jeffries anyway...

Shoot, I would love that, We would need to trade more than Jeffries, the contracts wouldn't match up.
Wilcox is looking for upwards of 8 million.
If we could put haywood I dunno... Seattle already has two athletic young centers in Swift and Petro both 20 years and younger, and they just drafted Saer Sene.
I don't think Haywood has much value to them...
Lee would match, that is why I said him...

I like the Wilcox proposal. Etan and Haywood for Wilcox. Seattle would probably laugh at such, but as a Wizards fan that would be great for us. Of coarse it would h inge on if Ramos is ready to play or not.
Arenas
Jeffries
Butler
Wilcox
Ramos
6th man=Jamison
Sometimes I think you have to just throw Ramos to the dogs. I think he has had enough developmental time, just give him 15-20 minutes a game and see what he can do. I'm willing to bet he cant do any worse than Thomas.

I like the looks of that...
AJ would be 6th man of the yr and we would also have Blatche, Daniels, and OP coming off the bench...That would be nasty!

With all the money Jamison is getting paid, theres no way hes on the bench.

thought they said in WP that a sign and trade probably wouldnt happen? if it did though id like us to package a deal for magloire on milwaukee which i read somewhere we were interested in him. solid double double center, which is what we have needed for ages. i would also like to see jamison be a 6th man, because as we saw he wears down over the course of a season and needs less minutes. maybe add stevenson
PG- Arenas
SG- Stevenson/Daniels/Hayes
SF- Butler
PF- XXXX
C- Magloire

Not necessarily...Jamison is instant offense and that's it...He cant guard any position on the floor...He's too small to guard PF's and too slow to guard SF's...He is a defensive liability...The 6th man role is the best for him on this team...

No way is Ramos ready to start and no way Jamison goes to the bench. That was a different circumstance in Dallas. Put Jamison at the 3 and butler at the 2 or make Wilcox the 5 (in the east he could do it). Ramos is still miles and miles away from contributing, much less starting.

He only has one more year on that Max deal, I don't think we start players by their contract...
I don't think AJ is coming off the bench though, either...

No way AJ will be a bench player THIS year. Next year possibly.....or the year after.
