Good return men

I'm in a 20(!) team league, where we have to start 2 RBs and 3 WRs. Thus there are going to be some pretty crappy RBs and WRs starting each week. However, we get points for return yards & TDs, so I figure that area could be a major differentiating factor.

So which players out there are good returners and also contribute to their offense? Is Reggie Bush going to be returning kicks in N.O?
Is Randel-El going to be our return man, or is that still Thrash/Betts? I guess I need to take a look at Dante Hall and see what his offensive stats are. Any thoughts?

Check Koren Robinson. With Nate Burlson is in Seattle now, he'll probably end up being a return man AND a go-to target for Brad Johnson. Also, Dante Hall wouldn't be a bad backup.

I think Randle EL is our primary PR and Betts will be KR. Jerome Mathis of the Texans looks promising and he's listed as #3 or #4 WR on their depth chart right now (not yet updated).

Eddie Drummond (DET) is another name worth mentioning because I think the Lions ST will see a lot of action.

Without researching all the candidates, I would say Dante Hall would have to be near the top of the list. He caught 34 balls for 430yds and 3tds as KC's third receiver. He also returns both punts and KO, totalling over 1800yds and 1td.

You'll need to look rather deep down the depth charts in a league as deep as yours. Good luck!


Aslo, I would guess Randel El will get at the very least a significant number of touches in both KR and PR (if not full time), as well as 3rd WR.

As far as we have heard, Randel El is going to be our #2 WR and full time punt returner. I think if your league counts return yardage (as most yahoo leagues do) this makes Randel El's value significantly higher than most WR/ KR's in the league.

Still thinking about this, since my draft isn't for another week. Espy seems to be our kick returner this preseason, but is it going to be Randel-El or Betts or both come 9/11?
