I searched and couldn't find anything on the USA Basketball or FIBA site. I hope it is not on TNT. We do not have TNT HD on Comcast here for some odd reason.

I remember last time the world championships were on ESPN... hopefully they will be again this year, cause I'm sure pretty much everyone with HD service gets ESPN HD.

See, I could have sworn they were on TNT in 2002. I could be wrong though. I hope it's ESPN.

Is it wierd that nobody can get confirmation on where these games will be broadcasted?

Aren't they in Asia? If so the games wouldn't be on until like 3 AM so maybe they're just not going to televise it at all?
I'm guessing they'll show taped games on ESPN/ABC.

I looked on the FIBA website and they had a listing of what network would carry it in different countries but there was nothing listed for the U.S. yet. I guess it's still up in the air.

You can 100% be guaranteed that if nothing else - they will be on NBATV - 5 bucks a month and there is always something I will watch on when I've seen whatever is on the NFL Network.
I even watch that dumb White Shadow show. BOLOGNA!

I saw that. I think most of USA's games are at 7:30pm local except for the 1st one against Puerto Rico at 2:00pm.

I believe there is a 14 hour time difference from the East Cast to Japan. So the 1st game will be on at midnight EST, 10pm for me. It looks like the other games will be 5:30am EST and 3:30am for me. I'll probably Tivo them and watch before I go to work.
If they show them live.
