Just caught a little blurb on TO/Parcells on ESPN. Tuna was visibly irritated by questions from reporters about TO not practicing and said something like, "I have nothing to say on that".
Then they flash to TO answering the same question, and with a smart ass grin on his face TO answers with something like "I know he wants me out there practicing, but I told him, Bill this is a serious injury and you can't rush it. We'll all just have to be patient with each other"
TO calls Parcell Bill? Owens has no concept of respect. It's very easy to envision Tuna choking the life out of TO on the sidelines, and I think it might not take as long to happen as people think. I'm gonna say TO gets his beat down week 2 while the Pukes are getting beat by the Redskins.

I'll admit at first I didn't think this TO nonsense would act up. But I'm really starting to doubt whether or not it can be avoided. Maybe TO just commands so much attention that a controversy will be created just for the sake of being created. It's almost sad to watch.
I won't give a timetable for when something could happen. But it's honestly looking more and more like something will happen this season. If it does I'll be shocked. How dumb can one player be??

I'm still on record as saying that this can't end this quickly, this easily. There has to be an accumulation of grievances before things boil over.
I think TO will take it up to the breaking point and then just trot heroically out for practice w/o announcing it, then tell the media afterwards that he really wanted to be out there, that he just did it for the team even though he was putting himself in jeopardy.
He'll spin it as a courageous act while Parcells just simmers, waiting for the next time they butt heads. THAT'S the one I would look out for.

Hopefully sooner rather than later. I don't see T.O. acting up bad enough very early in the year, but if the Cowboys begin to lose or T.O. doesn't like his touches, then things can obviously get really bad for Dallas really quickly.

Its really funny how each team thinks they can "change him"... Any guesses on who the next time will be? We all know there will be someone stupid enough to give him a shot if he gets kicked out of Dallas.

A week one loss in Jacksonville might be a start...then we finish it off in week 2!
The 0-2 Cowboys will launch a pay per view event for T.O. vs Parcells...
Word out of Vegas lists Parcells as a 3-1 favorite! lol

Won't it be the other way around though?

I think Parcells calls it quits in week 7. Coworker/friend of mine is a cowboys fan and he figures Parcells will retire before the end of the season as well. Not that either of us are exactly inside the locker room to know but when a Cowboys fan starts talking like that you know there's trouble.

I was thinking this very same thought. Terrell seems to enjoy being uncooperative until things come to a breaking point, then he comes out and says he was being cooperative all along as he goes back to work on HIS own time. I know the man will be dangerous on the field but he's going to be a problem for the Cowboys' locker room and at this point I'd be willing to put money on it if I weren't so poor.

Parcells normally says, "If you don't practice, you don't play." If Owens comes back later in the week but Pacells holds him out of the nationally televised Monday Night game, there might be fireworks.

Parcell's blows up at the media before or if ever at all, on TO. This is Bills best and last shot at the Super Bowl. He's not going to spit fire at his ace in the hole. That's why he's gotten the special treatment thus far.

This will definitely be Parcells last season, who knows if he lasts the full season. TO and Jerry are on the same page. They want Switzer to be coach, so the two of them can run the team!

Who do you think will replace Parcells when he leaves? Have there been talks about who may step in??

They were already speculating on ESPN early this afternoon, that it's comming down to Jerry making a decision between BP and TO. I know it's just speculation, but what team needs this kind of publicity before the season even starts?

TO will cool it down till after final cuts. If he makes the roster, that's 5 more mil in his pocket. Even TO isn't that stupid. Yet.

Prior to game one, Parcells cuts TO. Assuming they play as well as the cowboys fans here seem to think they're playing, and without TO no less. Why not cut him?
