Eagles | Philadelphia a potential landing spot for Staley?
Tue, 22 Aug 2006 14:50:41 -0700
Adam Schefter, of the NFL (http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl) Network, reports if the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://www.kffl.com/team/30/nfl) trade or release RB Duce Staley (http://www.kffl.com/player/1479/nfl), one possible landing spot would seem to be the Philadelphia Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl) who, to date, have not had any trade conversations with the Steelers. Should Staley be released, and it is within the realm of possibility, the Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl) could be on the list of teams interested in his services. In recent seasons, the Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl) have made a habit out of bringing back longtime contributors and fan favorites. The Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl) are in the market for a big back and, earlier this week, visited with free agent RB Stephen Davis (http://www.kffl.com/player/1939/nfl) (Panthers).
