Agree completely Pez...if I just saw that picture out of context I'd have no idea that was Megatron, I don't expect a "mainstream" movie to completely bow to what I remember as a child, but at least making the characters somewhat recognizable would be nice.

Again the pics(so called) of Optimus's as a robot looks like a dumb robot with wheels strapped to his side.. This movie is going to offend the die hard fans so bad it's going to tank.

Who are the first people going to see this movie? Die hard fans.. Who is going to be the first people to tell people not to see this film.. Die hard fans. If that truely is megatron, it's proven to me the producers don't give a crap about Generation 1 (Which is what the movie is based on) and are just making a robot movie and raping the Transformers license by slapping it's logo on the movie poster.

Not only are they not recognizable, they don't even resemble their vehicle selves.. I mean look at the old optimus, bumble bee, megatron, starscream in their robot forms and you have a good idea what they transform into.

I think it's very unlikely that's what the finished Megatron will look like. There are so many people who are going to release bogus stuff online for this movie, it's going to be impossible to filter it all.

I never knew there were people that were die hard fans of the Transformers.

I guess since I rarely go to the movies anymore, I have lost touch with what the public expects.

I think it will be an entertaining movie, but as with most movies, I will wait until it comes on DTV.

I for one am able to accept a goofy thing called "change" and have no problem with these awesome looking robots.

I love the Transformers in a nostalgic way... but to try and sit and nitpick robot designs of a movie not even released sounds a little retarded to me.
