DirectTV rain fade

For you fellow triple LNB owners.

Thnk back to when you still had the dual LNB dish.

When you upgraded did rain fade worsen? Mine seems to have (it's been a while since I upgraded but never felt like asking until now). It still has to rain pretty hard and it never lasts more than a couple of minutes.

Strengths are all mid to high 90's across all 3 LNB's.

You guys with 5 see any difference when you bumped up from three?

I don't think I have seen any change from 2 to 3 to 5. Has to be pretty bad for me to lose the signal, and that is maybe twice a year.

Different areas of the country DO get different conditions....

In NJ I had problems once or twice a year like Chewie said.... But here in Norfth Cackalackie I had no TV sporadically for a two weeks straight with afternoon downpours. huh, we're neighbors :laugh:

I have a friend in FL that say she doesn't even try to watch TV when there's a thunderstorm.

I have a 3LNB and when I changed from a 2 to a three I saw no difference.
