Check comments on "weigh in on T.O." They show the Cowboys Fan reaction to T.O. getting fined. They hate him already. This is so crazy.

The first blog I saw was "Parcells Unfamiliar with Vandy's groin."

Interesting, I wonder which players' groins he is familiar with...

T.O. wasn't suspended, he was fined $9500. But he did lose a supporter in Joe Theisman.

Not unanimous. I love him.

He'll be ready for Week 1. As Skins fans are all too happy to point out, preseason games are meaningless.

I liked this comment:

I think it is perhaps overoptimistic for Parcells and others to refer to T.O. as "the player", since it's not clear at this point when, if ever, he will "play". We certainly can't call him "the practicer".

How about "the peddler"?

I will give Cowboys fans (not the bandwagon'ers but the true, devoted fans) credit in that the vast majority of them have had serious reservations about TO from the start. Say what you will about the drug-filled, party days of Michael Irvin, et al from 10 years ago, but all of those guys were team players. Cowboys fans realize that TO is not, has never been, and will never be a team player.

What has shocked me, though, is the silence of Cowboys fans in criticizing Jerry Jones for continually (and even during the Parcells era) reaching for players who simply make no sense on their roster. Jones certainly runs a profitable organization (though how remarkable is that when you own the Cowboys?) but he remains very much the clown when it comes to an amateur like him playing the part of a NFL talent evaluator. Where's the criticism?

They are too busy bashing Dan Snyder to realize how far their owner has slipped.

You've got to be kidding me. A skins fan telling a cowboys fan about reaching for players?

LOL, genius, you clearly don't get it so I'll map it out for you. There are plenty of 'Skins fans who have been all over Snyder for the way he's run this team. I too have levelled criticism at him. I think he's gotten a lot better since he started in 1999 and particularly since Gibbs returned.

I was talking about Jones, you know, the guy who's owned your team for almost 20 years and who still has the "little man's complex" around real football guys like Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells such that he simply must be seen on the sidelines and as the head of the front office. You got any criticism for him?

OK you named four guys who have yet to play a down in a Redskins uniform, I think it's a little early to call them 'busts'...but like you said that's just this year. Care to take a stab at other busts under Gibbs?

Thanks for playing. You can sit down now.

How's TO doing?

Hey We
How in the hell do you call that a reach? These guys haven't even played in a regular season game yet. Over paid? Maybe. That's only if they turn out to be total flops, which I tend to doubt.
When Dan Snyder was doing the wheeling and dealing around here, at least we were not such homers as to not criticsize him for some of the idiotic moves that he made. With you guys, it's like Jerry can do no wrong. TO makes a complete ass out of BP, Jerry and you homer fans, and yet you keep defending them. Yeah, all's well in cowBoy land.

While many pokes fans had reservations about him prior to signing, once he joined the fray, it seems like the great majority convinced themselves that it would work out and decided to endorse the addition.

You all have it wrong. What you are seeing is media hyperbole inducing panic in it's cattle. (the sports fans) I don't see anyone on or around the team that seem like they are in chaos. Hell, the team appears to be getting better even though TO has evoked "The Great Cowboys Holocaust".

I saw the idoits on ESPN do a "Cowboys Breaking Report" and said that there was a "Bledsoe vs Romo Quarterback Controversy". There was NEVER a quarterback controversy. Romo never had a chance at starting this year unles Bledsoe went down. Parcells just said he was going to get a lot of snaps during the preseason because he needs to know if he can handle the job or not. Media hyperbole has everyone talking, because the more people talk the more they watch ESPN, read ESPN, eat ESPN, sleep ESPN, or whatever else any other sports media outlet.
