This thread is pointless, as if our answer to the poll would actually change anything..

Also look at the tape of collins vs. Cincy,
THEN
realize that Collins was playing against 4th stringers in the Ravens game, guys that are FIGHTING for a backup spot on the team.....

Brunell will start the season. It wasn't even a competition. THE COMP was for the backup to BRUNELL.

It's BRUNELL! Get over it already. If you need a good reason for this, see week 2 of last year.

People love to find any reason to displace the QB that led us to the playoffs last year while 24 other QB's and their teams were sitting at home in January. 'Nuff said.

has anybody noticed that all the media expert who picked the Skins BEFORE pre season, have altered their picks now and have the Redskins as 3rd or 4th in the NFC East as opposed to the earlier 1st or 2nd pick.
Pre season most certainly is something even the "jocks who talk" are basing their evaluations on. Remember, when Spurrier was pitchin it all around in pre season and many of them thought that Spurrier would be successful. Merril Hoge said "forget it". It ain't gonna work" I respect Merril for that and he seems to be one of the few that really understands what football is really about in the NFL. I haven't heard his predictions, but I would be interested. Anybody know?

This is getting pretty bad , the man did tire a little down the stretch however he had 23 tds and 10 ints sumthin like 3k yards last year and lead us to the playoffs, The only reason he wasnt in the probowl is because his name isnt micheal vick cause his numbers were sure better

If you need a reason against it see most of the other games after about week 6 or so

That's a great argument...for why Farris and Jacobs don't belong on an NFL roster.
Collins is Al Saunder's Wuerffel. NO THANKS!!!

;) Brunell until all is lost, which I hope won't happen.
Or better Brunell until the skins are up 52-0, then put Campbell in for experience behind the center.
Collins can be put in if Randle El can't get the team going. Yes, I'm serious, Collins BITES! :silly: :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :dallasuck :dallasuck :point2sky :point2sky

NO....There is a reason that he has never really started in the league. If he were any good he would have started in KC or somewhere else

I don't know why anybody would even give Collins consideration given his performance or lack thereof against the Bengals.

Right, by the same token I am surprised he only got the 25% or so for the short leash method. It actually all sounds about right. Campbell should be the number two and hopefully will play well when called upon. And that is not a maybe or an if, buy a "when".

Anyone who credits Brunell with our getting to the playoffs is a baseball fan. Gregg Williams got us to the playoffs. inspite of Brunell.
