Welcome to Sunday Morning Notes. Each and every Sunday this season, feel free to grab a bagel a donut, or last night's cold pizza and sip on your coffee or bloody mary with us as we provide the latest on any and all fantasy-related news. Be sure to check back frequently as kickoff approaches – we'll update our notes as last-minute information becomes available.

Bengals wide receiver T.J. Houshmanzadeh is inactive due to a heel injury. He tested his injured heel in pregame warm-ups and determined he is unable to play against the Chiefs. Chris Henry will start opposite Chad Johnson.

n positive news, Darrell Jackson will start for the Seahawks. He missed the entire preseason with a knee injury and his practice time has been limited, but he's been deemed healthy enough to start against the Lions.

The Panthers will open the season without Steve Smith, who is nursing a hamstring injury. Look for backup wide receivers Keary Colbert and Drew Carter to split time opposite Keyshawn Johnson when the Panthers face the Falcons.

Newly acquired wide receiver Doug Gabriel will wait at least one more week before making his debut for the Patriots. He and new teammate Chad Jackson are both listed as inactive for today's game against the Bills.

The Broncos backfield mystery is over (at least for this week). Mike Bell has been named the starting running back for today's game against the Rams. We still expect Tatum Bell to get his share of carries despite his backup status.

We've got you covered, IDP owners. Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi is inactive with a wrist injury for the game against the Bills.

he Saints have named Deuce McAllister the starter for today's game against the Browns. Of course, Reggie Bush will also get his fair share of carries.

Jamal Lewis will start for the Ravens when they visit the Buccaneers on Sunday. He has been listed as questionable with the hip injury that bothered him throughout the preseason.
