View Full Version : A Real Moral Dilemma on my hands...

Ok guys, I got a problem. It involves my Fantasy Football team; check out my starting line-up and you'll see why my conscience is bothered.

QB D. McNabb :anon:
WR T. Owens :pooh:
WR J. Walker
WR J. Jurevicius
RB T. Barber :dunce:
RB S. Jackson
TE R. McMichael
DEF Baltimore :puke:

As a 'Skins fan through and through what do I do with a line-up like this? This is a terrible ethical problem. I'm thinking of trading off every one of these players and throwing the whole season. The only consolation that I have is that my team was picked by auto-draft. So does this mean that I'm not morally responsible?

By the way, in case you were wondering this is my actual roster. Terrible ain't it? I feel like such a traitor.

I know, its a hot roster, and as a matter of fact I'm gonna win my week one match up by about 20 points or better, but do you have any idea how disgusting it feels to cheer on McNabb not to mention T.O.? My stomach turns every time any of them score Fantasy points. I even tried to trade T.O. but the only offer I got was Randy Moss. *sigh*

Baltimore had 3 sacks, 3 interceptions, gave up 137 yards passing, gave up 26 yards rushing, and shut out the Bucs. Hmmmmmmmmm.

If those players do bad, you can be glad as a fan. If they do well, at least you'll get the fantasy points.

You shouldn't have drafted TO based on moral principles. I have no problem starting Eagles or Giants players... but Dallas is just uncool.

I know, I completely forgot to edit my pre-draft rankings prior to the draft and then I was taking my mother to the airport and ended up missing my draft. Last year I actually did eliminate T.O. from my pre-draft rankings, but this year I just kept putting it off, and now I'm stuck with him because he's a "cannot cut" player and apparently no body wants to trade well for him. *sigh*

I'm thinking about changing my team name from Monastic Maniacs to NFC Beasts. BTW I did pick up Sean Taylor for one of my defensive players. My only hope to save my interity this year is that T.O. will score a lot but that Dallas will still lose.

LIKE TODAY!!!! YEA! DALLAS LOSES, and I stilled earned 10pts off T.O.! Moral VICTORY!!

No kidding, they scored me 25pts today! And McNabb scored me 22! And Tiki still has his game tonight. Right now I've got 84.18pts and between Tiki and Sean Taylor I hope to break 100pts. Not a bad showing for week 1.

p.s. sorry mods, I didn't know that there was a Fantasy forum here. My bad
