Baltimore defense looked downright 2000-ish yesterday.
Simms didn't look good at all, but I'll see him play a few normal defenses before completely writing him off.

I agree, but it looks like Ray is doing more than looking at Sims. Sims probably soiled his pants.

My best friend got his ruptured in a rugby match. Similar story -- played out the whole rest of the match and then - on the way home - told me to go to the hospital. Wasn't moaning, crying....none of that. Just looked out the window and said "we need to go to the hospital". Doc said he was done for if we hadn't made that trip. Tough S.O.B.

I gotta feel for the kid though- he got burried at UT, and has the makings of a descent qb. It seems ever since the skins whooped it up on him in the wildcard game, he hasnt been the same. Gotta admire his toughness- makes me think a little of Ramsey before Spurrier ruined him.

I HATE SIMMS!!! Remember during the playoffs when he told the guy to hit him and then ran out of bounds? That will stick with me till the day he retires, too bad he won't be playing against us this season at Fedex. Could you imagine 90000+ in the stadium doing the same hand gesture back to him.

I hope a few of the posters early in this thread take a look at what they posted...
The same ones would be flaming mad if someone wrote those about a Skin that later had a life threating injury.

That's a weak statement to make. Taking the moral upper hand is easy when you've got hindsight on your side. All the jokes above were valid funny pre-spleen injury, given Simms' behavior like taunting. But that was only up to a few weeks ago.
Some of us will probably be in serious medical conditions in the future. Does that preclude being the subject of jokes, mean spirited or not?
Besides, how many new joke threads about Simms do you see now? Although I wouldn't be surprised if someone did start one. :paranoid:
