View Full Version : I laid around in my robe all week depressed - But just imagine....

But now I am ready. First, I want to apologize to Park City Skins. In my desperate joy to be a new poster on the Board, I disrespected a long time contributor - for that I am sorry.

Now, just think -- we all counted on the Vikings game being an easy win and I just want to say, I got depressed this week. Hard to get out of bed. Hard to function at work and felt a huge let down.

But now I am imagining the following -- Redskins, Giants and Eagles all 1 and 1, while the Cowboys are 0-2. That (other than us being 2 and 0) is pretty much perfect with the next game being against the Texans.

So, now I am no longer Mr. Mom. I shaved. I showered and I put back on my Riggins jersey. I am ready to believe and feel that as of midnight Sunday -- we will be back on track.

Again, thanks to the moderators for letting me back on and Sorry PCS.

My screen name says it all - because after we score a touchdown, and we sing our fight song and get to these words -- FIGHT FOR OLD DC -- I AM HAPPY AND AT PEACE.

Goose fraba...Goose fraba...Goose fraba...

I am recovering nicely too. Waiting around BWI from midnight until my plane left for Phoenix at 7am was a real bummer.

I had cooled off about the loss by Tuesday morning, but I can help thinking how crappy it will feel if god forbid we lose to the Cowboys. Not only the gloom of being 0-2 but having to go to work and listen to the endless crap from everyone else. In fact, this forum might implode if we lose this next game. I can already foresee the "Fire _______!!!" and "Cut _________"!!! threads coming from a mile away.

I feel you man, It took me until about Wednesday to really get over the loss and focus on Dallass. But now I am pumped and ready to roll for Sunday night so our beloved Skins can get back on track...

Just remember no matter how upset you get for what happens on the field, try not to take it out on other members of this board. We all love the Skins, that's why we're here. We all feel pain when our team loses. Best not to fight amongst ourselves.

Does anyone remember how the Cowboys Forum crashed after the 14-13 Win last Year

fightforolddc, we all feel the agony of defeat and are with you. But Im still on a high from the whipping we put on Dallas in the last game with them and the shocker in the first. I must admit that life has been good giving it to the cowpile fans around here the past 9 months...

Im still even a bit depressed today, but being on this message board is helping to raise my spirits. Thats why I love coming to this site. Its lonely being a skins fan in philly. We all need a big dose of Dallas ass bashing to help us all feel better. Monday morning we'll be either on cloud 9 or angrily depressed. Hopefully cloud 9. Man do i hate Cowboys!!

A better scenario for me would be the giants and cowboys at 0-2.
We'll be one game behind the eagles and the Texans next while the Eagles have the cowboys coming to town.

If we win sunday night, the vikings hangover will be over..

Fortunately I work with nothing but 'Skins fans so we can all commiserate together:cool: The loss didn't kill me altogether, I've been kinda used to losing being a NASCAR fan and my driver has just sucked all year:laugh: Well anyway :dallasuck

PCS...ah who cares about that guy :poke: :anon: :D . He's got a tough chin, he can take it. If I were you, I'd let him have it every chance you get. The only guy you have to watch out for is SSM, he'll drop kick ya'. Dem' black guys are scary! :ahhhhh: Welcome back, and its nice to see you shaved and all. Don't forget to scrub between the tackles and wipe your balls off when they're wet...what? :whoknows: What I say?...footballs sicko'
