I know a lot of people are down on the team right now with the lingering Portis injury, the lack of scoring, and the redzone offense. I am here to tell you guys that things will be on and popping sunday night. No one can deny that they saw glimpses of a very good offense by the multiple redzone drive against a very tough defense (Vikings). The offense will improve every week. It will be leaps and bounds better than we've seen recently. The Skins and Al Saunders will prove that all the money spent was well worth it. This WILL be in a winning effort.

I am with you 100% on this one brother!

A win here would be HUGE for us.. We really could use the momentum boost.

Its going to be our D that cost us the game.Im not worried about the O as much as im worried about getting smacked around in the secondary.

Man have some faith. The Vikings O-line is 100x better than the boys. We will get pressure on Bledsoe. Pressure busts pipes and leads to turnovers regardless if they have TO or not.

It also might not be such a bad thing that Portis is out this game, if T.J. gets the majority of the carries, I think he can get the job done. Different styled running backs could work better against different teams. I cant wait, hope he gets to play.

The defensive performance will be largely affected by time of possession as is any defense in the league. The time of possession is obviously dictated by the offense, and will never be won when we are 4/14 on 3rd down as we were against the Vikings. This was the result of our inability to pound the rock. We need to see large doses of clock-eating effort by Duckett or we lose this game. Betts will not accomplish this objective; we need to keep the Dallas offense off of the field, and our defense fresh.

I don't care if we have a problem in the secondary or not, this is a game I really want to see us win. I am not all that impressed with Dallas' secondary either. Its time for the defense to step up and show what they can do. We need to stop the run, and hurry Bledsoe when he tries to pass. If we get Bledsoe rattled, we will win this game. I expect to see multiple trick plays from Dallas and hopefully our defense will be prepared for them.

The Vikings don't have a tough defense. Never have. Never will. Especially away from the Metrodome.

You think Joe and Al are stupid they realize that the best way to win the upcoming games is with the offense.Control the time of possession and keep the others team's offense off the field until our defense has time to heal and mold back into a killer.Look for some close tight games to played until we are back into a playoff caliber team.

I have to admit I am still really down after last weeks game. I really want the Skins to win, but I'm not fully sold yet on the idea that they will. I hope I am wrong!

Its a whole new season.

But Brad Childress beating Joe Gibbs, at Fed Ex? Childress should have been in over his head, on the road against a superior coach and opponent. Yet Childress won. It just makes no logical sense.

I wish I could share your optumism, but I haven't seen anything to lead me to believe what you're saying is true.

Well the post was half truths and half prediction. I'd say it's a pretty good post, and I wouldn't sit down there in cow town and think that we aren't going to improve our mistakes in the red zone offense. We did look rather sharp on offense when we were on the field. If you guys stall a few drives, you're in for a fight my friend. Don't sleep on this offense, we don't sleep on yours. You added one element to improve your O, unfortunately Adams isn't that aforementioned improvement. Good luck this weekend, especially with your offensive line, or lack there of. You better hope your qb get's the ball out quickly. I have a feeling G-dub is going to send the house at your boy, a lot. Parcells is going to have you guys run the ball a bunch [initially] and max protect. You'll probably send 2 or 3 out on routes 75% of the time in the first half. If he trys to stretch this D, Bledsoe's helmet is getting dirty. Trust me, our D won't bring the same scheme they used against the Vikes, and this offense will improve on last weeks missteps. If you guys can protect Drew...well, I congratulate you on the win in advance  . Good luck!

Man those same Vikings will beat the Chicago Bears and lose to the Detroit Lions this year.. It's the NFL!! No game is an automatic win unless teams just suck ie: ( Packers, 49ers,Tenn). The competition is just that good up here.

If the Skins show us something Sunday night for 4 quarters then the critics will subside, but until then I think everyone is at least a little bit worried at the unknown.

Even the cowboy fans are worried about their team's performance. Jacksonville basically beat them 24-10 if the cowboys don't get those garbage points at the end of the game.

Although the Skins' offense is developing and still somewhat feeble it's the Defense that concerns me...

Watch Parcells use the pass to set up the run...

It could get brutal.

OMG! OMG!

Couldnt have said it better myself......pound the rock....and add some off the wall stuff to keep them honest (reverses , kick off reverses, maybe a flea flicker)..............as early as this game is.....it is still huge......WE MUST WIN THIS DAMN GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
