yippeee... we stayed 8 games ahead of the cellar-dweller Rays..

Bedard is solid, though...

still can't wait for Thursday... take back the Birds night.

Loewen looks more and more legit as time goes on. Big, left handed anf has 3+ pitches.

Texas is going to ask for a lot for Tex. As you remember when Tejada was supposedly been shopping around around the league there was a rumor that Texas wanted Tejada and Bedard for Tex. So does this mean bye bye to Tejada next offseason.

Tex has grumbled several times that he doesn't get along with Showalter, and his desire for a trade drops his value a little. The Rangers were shooting for the Moon last offseason with the desire for Bedard. I think Tejada, and 2 of Olsen, Erbe, Liz, Hoey, Penn or Beato would get it done.

I love Tejada, but in 3 years, his value will be declining (potentially rapidly because of his build) while a guy like Tex will be hitting the prime of his career.

With a few more apps from the pen, Rodrigo Lopez could lose 20 games.
