One crying hysterically, a couple looking like they are on the brink of crying hysterically, one mouth-breather staring blankly, and one chilled out with the thumb up.

Welcome to ES Daycare!

I agree completely. It's been extremely difficult to come here lately. You literally have to weed through all the negativity to find even one ounce of something insightful and encouraging. I still have faith and I have trust in Gibbs...

lol how perfect is that. I liked extremeskins more when we weren't the official board of the skins because since when have gotten a bunch of bandwagoners who cry alot.

So should we celebrate that we're losing?

I get your point but I don't think anyone should be happy about it.

Man, it's sad, but that pic is right on target.

I've avoided coming here b/c I'm depressed enough as it is w/ the losses, and I don't need to get p****d off reading all of the negative posts.

Thanks for lightening the mood a bit.

I'd have to say that I'm baby #1...stupified by how bad we actually look. I'm not going to cry or whine or start pulling out my hair, but damn, we looked bad in those first 2 games. Being the homer I am I'm going to give the benifit of the doubt to Brunell for the 30th time since he's been here and say the new offense must be hard to grasp (for him anyways) and not having Clinton Portis downgrades our offense dramatically. Portis is the straw that stirs the drink, we need our running game to establish our passing game. At this point, Brunell can't get it done without Portis, we've seen it with our own eyes.

As for the defense, Arch and Carter are invisible and the loss of Springs has exposed Carlos Rogers as a kid who needs a lot of work. I was really high on him last season, but it would appear a #1 cornerback he is not. At least not yet.

With Portis back we should stomp the Texans. I predict a 100 yard 2 TD game for Clinton on Sunday which will take the heat of Mark so he can dink and dunk and maybe get a few deep completions to Santana. That's the formula for winning this year it would appear. And winning makes me more like the baby in the middle and less like the cranky whiners with the dirty diapers that have been rearing their heads on here lately.

Hi-freaking-larious Tizzod. However, your explanation begs the question, who on the board is the "mouth-breather staring blankly" ?? I have my ideas but I'll keep that to myself.;)

Thanks for lightening things up a bit. I think we all needed it.

We're not, it's ok. We've haven't just "felt really bad and upset with dissapointment and concern for the rest of the season and been shaken with dashed expectations but then summoned up our chi to act like reasonable balanced adults ready to move on and forward after some needed venting" or something crazy like that.

We've all either relapsed with chemical dependency issues, beat our pets with rubber hoses, renounced the lord, disowned our families, quit our jobs, burned countless effigies of certain QB's, busted all Gibbs' trophies, forsworn humor or any positive thoughts for what time we have left and are planning our mass exit from this plane of existence when the comet arrives. Better? :D
