Is anyone already sick of this Ratbird hoopla? Listen maybe its just me, but im not drinking the purple stuff yet as for the rest of the sports writers around the country. Lets get serious here there first 3 teams they play have a combined record so far of 0-6...... which dosent mean squat at this point. But If u talk to a ravens fans you miswell put them in the Super bowl and mark 2006 defense as the greatest ever. Come on now guys.....your gonna have to impress me by beating up on people better than Chris Simms and Aaron Brooks. All around town you see the purple flags hanging everywhere! Where were these flags last year when they were sittin 6-10 and ray ray was crying beacuse he needed lineman in front of him. My question to you guys as football fans is are you buying the ravens as a serious contender?

ask me in 2 more weeks, I'm not quite sure yet. Their offense has definatly improved with McNair, and their defense is solid...they have the potential to be a really good team this year but you never know if those first 2 wins were them playing well or the other team being plain bad...I figure after a few more games if they are still playing at that level then barring injury to one of the more injury prone QB's in the NFL they have a shot. I hope we can turn this season around...maybe a Superbowl of the beltway...eh...unlikely.

They play the 0-2 Browns this week so even if they win I'm still not sold on them.(If the Panthers beat the Bucs and Ravens win their opponents combined record will be a steller 0-8.)
The Bucs suck and the Raiders are the worst team in the league.
It's still the Bengals and Steelers division until futher notice :2cents:

It seems to me that the Ravens are fo real !

They've won without the offense even getting going, really. The Raven's D is looking great, and once McNair gets rollin, they're going to be tough. They got McNair and Derrick Mason back together, Jamal Lewis with Mike Anderson backing him up, a very competent TE ... looking pretty durn good to me.
