Their schedule is ridiculously easy!!!

After they finish off the Seahawks:

Buffalo
at Arizona
Bye
San Francisco
Miami
at Giants
at Jets
at New England
Minnesota
at St. Louis
Tampa Bay
at Detroit
Green Bay

Really, the only problem they might have is the three consecutive road games against the Giants, Jets and New England. Most teams lose that third game and it happens to be against the best team remaining on their schedule.

Na, they'll lose a few in there. Too hard to go 16-0.

Grossman makes too many mistakes to be a serious threat for 16-0

They are probably the top team in the NFC as of RIGHT NOW

I saw the topic and was gonna come in here saying NO WAY! But after looking at that pathetically easy schedule and the way the Bears are playing right now against Seattle its possible. They are the best team in the NFC right now. I personally don't think they will go undefeated. I'm just saying they have the potential to with that schedule.

this year though he as not made many and has looked amazing with his arm, i think he is one of the highest rated qbs in the league

If they make it that far without a loss, theyll lose to New England.

3rd of 3 straight roadies against Belichek? I'll take the Pats in that spot.

Didn't you see that Vikings games

he has made some tonight, just hasn't gotten bit by them so far.

It's nearly impossible to go undefeated in this league. That's why there's only been one team to do it. Of course back then there were only 14 games.

But with a 16 game schedule, parity, home field advantage at stake, and conventional wisdom telling coaches to rest their starters once they've secured HFA, it's not likely to happen any time soon.

BTW, I don't think tonights game is all about how great the Bears are, it as much the Hawks having a rotten game, no Alexander (Mr. Sunday Night) didn't help either.

Buffalo - possible loss. Bills aren't bad.
at Arizona - W
Bye
San Francisco -W
Miami - W
at Giants - Not a gimme game.
at Jets
at New England- I'd put money on a loss here.
Minnesota
at St. Louis - tough game for them indoors
Tampa Bay
at Detroit - Aren't that bad at home.
Green Bay

You mean Tim Brown was wrong when he said Seattle is a better team with Morris on the field than with Alexander?

All that and Rex Grossman playing 16 games of good football.

Not gonna happen.

Grossman is the 2nd coming of a young farve.

He has a cannon arm. Gun slinger type. He'll make some mistakes he's still young.

I think the bears are the best team in the league.

Don't sleep on the Jets either. Their defense sucks, but their offense has been putting up serious numbers so far this year (despite losses).

Bears are already in the Divisional Playoffs. There's one bye already gone.

I seem to remember a team that went 13-3 a few years back mainly because of an easy schedule only to go down rather quickly in the playoffs.

Hmm...what team was that?

I was thinking about the possibility of them running the table last night as they were laying the ass whooping on the Seahawks.
Their schedule is easy but the only thing is that if they clinch early, they will probably rest some of their players down the stretch. I think it's really hard to go 16-0 anyway, but the Bears could do it.
They are a really exciting team.
Rex is the man.

Don't write off Buffalo. That's a team that is starting to find their current identity. They may be inconsistent for a while yet, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if the beat Chicago.

I also wouldn't be shocked if Chicago completely cleaned their proverbial clocks.

I just don't think they'll go all over Buffalo's D the way they did Seattle. I predicted pain for Seattle yesterday and got laughed at.

Until Grossman can play more then five games without getting injured don't make comparisons to Farve.

The Bears are looking damn good, especially that D

Any team is going to have a tough time scoring against them in a playoff game in Chicago

Grossman playing the way he is is just gravy as far as Lovie Smith is concerned

Unlikely anyone's going to go undefeated in the modern NFL. But the Bears certainly do have an inside track on home field advantage in the playoffs this year ... and given that those games are likely to be played in sub-zero temps and howling winds ... it's not something to be taken too lightly.

Bastages.

My brother is a Bears fan and of course I am a Skins fan, so we have quite the rivalry going. Plenty of **** talking. I hate to see how well the Bears are doing this year. I watched most of the game last night, and I hate to say it, but they looked pretty tough. Either that, or Seattle is really that terrible this year.

The Bears did get quite the cupcake schedule and play in the still weak North, so I probably will be in for a long season. My only consolation will be if the Bears and Skins meet in the playoffs...that will be a game for the ages!

Man, you got that right...the Pats laid it on the Bengals yesterday.

Maroney looks like he's gonna be a stud, Brady is getting over the fact that Branch is gone, and their D is playing some pretty solid ball.

The Pats may be coming back to form, I'll take NE at home in this matchup.
