Former Wizard Jared Jeffries decided to join this mess in the offseason, signing a five-year, $30-million deal, and he's already struggling to put the ball in the hole. On the first day of camp Tuesday, Jeffries missed three free throws, including an airball, which forced the team to run three windsprints after practice. Jeffries, looking to endear himself to his new teammates, offered to run the sprints alone but when he lined up to run, his teammates joined him. Thomas is trying to get his team to come together as one. For now, it seems like everybody is buying in. It still might not be enough.

Yeah... I didn't expect him to exactly go up there and light it up.

Such an odd thing, that signing. Oh well.

That's Jared Jeffries for you, missing his free throws. But I guess it's good for the Knicks at least that they are trying to develop being a team by running together, even though Jeffries wanted to do it alone.

6 million a year to look goofy and miss layups... Hayes and Stevenson are both better defenders than him and the both of t hem together cost twice as less to have. Have fun winning 15 games Jared!

There's no better way to say it.

Thanks goodness there's at least one team all screwed up like the Knicks to take him off our hands. Still not as cool as the Lakers taking Kwame from us. :)
