This from the NBA TV training camp show...

"With Jared gone, they have guys who can finish around the basket and guys who can go up against the likes of Peirce, Wade, and actually slow them down."

He wasnt the defensive master people think he was. We are better without him and his hefty price tag.

smh@the mere thought of Jeffries being a "defensive stopper." Him being tagged "the best defensive player on the team" was more testament to our team being a feeble defensive team...

He's a decent defender because he's got okay quickness for a guy his height and wingspan. No way is he or was he ever a shutdown defender the likes of Artest or Bowen.

I wish JJ well in NYC but I shudder to think what the media will print after his first bricked layup. The O FACE will look hillarious on the cover of the NY Times.
