AP will have Texas and Louisville flipped.

I cant argue with any of that, other than maybe Michigan getting a little too much credit for beating PSU by 7, but oh well.

Rankings will mean something to me on November 3rd. :)

Too much credit???? What the **** are you talking about?? Michigan goes into a hostile night confrence game and pulls out the W, yet we're still ranked behind a USC team that is squeaking out wins at home versus crappy teams. NO WAY Michigan shouldn't be second. I'm sorry you're bitter WVU is getting the respect they deserve, but you need to stop trying to pull down Michigan.

You really think you deserved to JUMP 2 spaces for barely beating an unranked team playing their 3rd string QB? I dont. Hell, ND beat them by 24 and we've seen how great they are. That win doesnt impress me enough to justify jumping like that. Voters just want to see a #1 OSU vs #2 Michigan game.

Im not bitter at all. Rankings dont mean much to me until November. Just giving my :2cents: rincy.

Thank you Auburn.

Desmond Howard and Corso just put us at #3. :)

We should be #3 by the end of the day. 3 or 4.

Why was their 3rd string QB playing?

I'm not saying THAT win justified us jumping - I'm saying USC's crappy play justifies them slipping. Hell, I'd put WVU 3rd - though you're seriously making me not want to. I'm about to start the whole 'who the **** have you played' posts. :)

3rd stringer was playing b/c the first 2 got hurt. Hurting people does not equal football dominance.

Alls im saying is that beating PSU doesnt justify jumping 2 spots. PSU aint that great a team.

Doesnt matter to me, either OSU or Michigan will lose a game, guaranteed. I just need USC to drop one before the end of the season and WVU to take care of business.

Edit: CJC, there is a thread calling your name in the tailgate.

Unranked for the first time since 2004

USC and Michigan should be flipped, Auburn higher, and Florida should not have fallen past ND

Lesson of the day boys and girls, losses earlier in the season hurt less then losses late in the season

It isn't really fair to say we would have jumped 2 spots - one of those teams lost, so we wouldn't be jumping them. Of course, it also depends on which poll you look at.

I think Pitt should be in at #25 and Iowa should not be ranked at all. Georgia might not deserve to be ranked either. :2cents:
