That's sad.
Go away if you have no faith in this team.
I am sure the brokeback nation could use another bandwagoner.

Depends what the spread is....if it's 13 or under...I think I might might place a wager as well.
At least then I might cushion the blow with a little dough.

Why start a thread to proclaim you're betting against your team?

What's the line? I told my buddy after we lost to the Titans  that I wouldn't be surpised if it were 10. Either way it doesn't matter to me because I don't bet on or against the 'skins. Talk about unhealthy. I'm already emotional enough as it is watching these guys.

I would venture to say the colts put at least 30 points up.

It opened at 10, it's actually gone down to 9 since Sunday night.
That means the money's going on WASHINGTON!
Go Skins

I don't do a whole lot of betting personally, but I have in the past. I would rather (and usually do) bet AGAINST the Skins than for them. If they lose, I've made money to help ease the pain. If they win, I don't mind the fact that I've just lost money. Matter of fact, I have several friends who are hardcore fans of other franchises that do that every week.
That said, if you're betting I would put my money on the Colts regardless of your strategy. If you're just looking to win money, that's the smart call.

Bet with your head not your heart.
Truer words were never spoken.
Besides, the redskins and the redskins alone have cost me two parlay bets in the last two weeks (every other team came in.) I figure they owe me one... lol

I have an odd feeling that we will cover the spread. Nevertheless, the colts would make for a great tease. (As would the skins, for that matter)

Betting is for losers anyway. There are better things to spend your money on. Over your lifetimes you will actual lose more money than you make betting.

Actually, it's not the smart call. Considering 66% of the betting public has money on the Colts and the line hasn't adjusted for it, I'd say the opposite is true. Normally when that high a percentage of bets are coming in on any given team, the line will go up. Conversely, if that many bets are coming in on one side, you'd need a fairly substantial bet size to come in to keep the line from moving up, which is where it should be going with 66% of the betting public on the Colts.
This show you that the sharps are betting the skins. In other words if the Skins cover, Vegas wins. I'll side with Vegas 9 times out of 10. They usually come out ahead;).
As of right now the Skins +9.5 is the smart bet. The exact same thing happened last week with the Titans, only the spread was larger. The Titans covered the #.
Regardless of all that, it's sacrelidge to bet against your team.
To the original poster: Do not bet against the Redskins. It's bad karma and you will lose your money. Period.

If we lose by 8 or less, that's worst case for everyone

Not if you're betting the Skins.
