They are only down by a FG.

That all goes back to the poor clock management at the end of the first half.

Again, why is puking embarrassing? He put the team on his back on that last drive. He is playing his heart out. When I finish my Marine Corps physical fitness test, I sometimes puke at the finish line. I guess its a funny thing for internet keyboard jockies to make fun of him about but it doesn't have any merit.

Yeah, and there is a big difference between the Marines and a regular season NFL game. Sorry.

McNabb is still playing UNBELIVABLY better than Brunell. I would trade my next 3 years of 1st rounders for mcnabb

McNabb is definately one of the best QB's in the game, but him along with Peyton, have yet to prove they can win the big one. McNabb is essentially Jim Kelly. Peyton Manning is the QB version of Marty Schottenheimer.

Who said that it was embarassing? If this were another other team you would have just chimmed in...

But, since it's about the Iggles you took offense to it.

Reread what the OP wrote.

Bubba said "How embarrassing" in the game thread. Plus, puking in games is one thing people love to bring up when bashing McNabb.

You still have to give credit to McHurl, he led his team back down 17.

McHurl has been kicking ass this season. In the beginning he was having a horrible game but still came back to have a good game with 300 yards passing.

The Eagles go as far as McNabb takes them. This guy is amazing.

Are you serious?

He threw-up on the field. It's gross and EXTREMELY embarrassing.

Ask Marcus Washington.

Brown Hornet, you must have never given your all in any physical endeavor. When you do, it usually culminates in your puking. I'm sorry; I can't lay fault on a man for giving his all.

Puking during extreme physical exertion is not a sign of one's physical prowless or what type of shape you are in. You can be in the best shape of your life and still throw up if you push yourself hard enough.

I LOVE IT when the commentators continously SLURP McNabb and Westbrook and the Eagles still lose after all that buttering. I heard so many biased statements "he is carrying this team on his back"(way before their big 4th qtr drive) and "most teams would have thought this was over but today they're playing against McNabb and Westbrook!" that it was making me sick so seeing them lose really made all of us happy that we wouldn't hear Don Tollefson and the Philly d-bags gloating for a minute.

Actually, I don't think this has anything to do with being in shape. More of being under mental pressure. McNabb can handle it...he just has to do a little puking.

Nothing to do with the fact that the three times he has puked (Jacksonville 2003, Miami 2004, Tampa Bay 2006) the game temperature has been well over 100 degrees. Yeah, pressure. The NFC Championship games in Philly, when it was cold, had no pressure. Tampa Bay, week 7 of the season, NOW THAT IS PRESSURE.

Are we talking about Mcnabb puking?
Or are we talking about you guys losing to a one dimensional (no offense) team that is 1-4?

Well wtf do you want me to say? He's a ****ing *****. Sure he can run around and throw balls on a zip but he can't keep that poisonous Philly air in his lungs without throwing up. It's permanently imbedded in his weak lungs. Yeahhhh, winding up and throwing a ball SURE IS PUSHING IT to the limits! God damn, I know I can throw hard but if I tried my hardest I would throw the **** up! All 5 of those 30 yard scrambles with a 40 second break between plays! Barf bag please! Whew!!!! Let's face it, there's either something in his head or he's got chronic vomitosis. Yall apparently had a tough game today. I don't care if it's mid May, if the score is within 3 on Madden 2007 he'll be heading to the bathroom!

Nice one, did you barf???

Ok Moo-rine, I won't disrespect yall fighting in Hawaii, but you only puke when you are either A) out of shape and can't handle the given workout - Or B) Push yourself at an uneccesary rate. Ok, boot camp. You'll puke. Yeah. Peak of Boot Camp Training > NFL Quarterback's Physical Exersion. Reference my last post instead of trying to get a cheap shot in without knowing one ****ing thing about me. (Obvious Philly Fan Alert)

By the way? I'm athletic. Kickboxer/3 sport guy. Love training.

I don't care if McNabb threw up.
I do think it's damn funny, and I want a screencap. Please Bubba, come on and celebrate being back from the hospital with a screencap. ;)
I do care that he threw 3 picks and made some terrible decisions, one of which made time run out in the second half.

probably had something to do with the 98 degree heat index in tampa yesterday. And I second the call for an animated gif. It'll make a great signature, haha.

corsair-joe,
You might be right. It would be a good idea to find a new signature. Of the 20 teams that "suck" in your current sig, only one has a worse record than the Skins and that's the Titans who beat you guys on your field for their only win. Yikes...

I suppose the other 750 or so players that played on Sunday weren't "giving it their all".

he may choke at times, but he is still a good QB. Maybe Brunell needs to puke before he runs a play so that he'll be better. Besides, puking always seems to clean you out and make you feel better, in my experience at least, heh.

Either way, we really cannot make fun of a QB leading comeback drives and performing well on offense until we at least have a winning record and a QB who can throw the ball more than 5 yards.

Exactly. Lots of QBs have played under pressure in 100 degree heat. Not many of them ralph all over their own teammates.

Still, puke or no puke, I wish McNabb played for the Redskins. There's nothing wrong with him that a case of Pepto-Bismol wouldn't cure.

No question, he's a very good QB.

That said, was it really 100 degrees at the Superbowl...in February...?

WHY NOT??? I'll give him all the credit in the world, if they make the playoffs and his play continues at the same rate he's been at this year then it'd be a travisty if he doesn't get the MVP this year.

That said, seeing him walking up to the line of scrimmage, surveying the defense and then puking was freakin hilarious. I know it was the heat and all the water/gatoraide or pickle juice he was drinking but it was still freakin funny!!!!!!!!

Actually, it was pretty hot.
The Eagles players were cramping up from dehydration. I remember criticizing Burkhalter for not having these guys properly hydrated.
