They are as up and down as the Skins. Down 24-7 to the Texans? WTF?

I was about to make this same post. Houston? C'mon...

Makes our win over Jacksonville look a lot less impressive. Could we be worse than I thought?

Maybe its a testament to how close in talent this league really is.

I'm shocked at the play of the Texans defense.

One thing's for sure, I'm very glad I sat Leftwich for Delhomme.

Good call and I can only imagine what the fans are saying about Leftwich.

Perhaps Jacksonville got a lot of undo hype for beating Pittsburgh and now that they played some more games, found out that Pittsburgh wasn't so hot, and that they lost to some legit bad teams, they just aren't that good. The Eagles must pick up a win at home next week.

Leftwich played hurt. They should have played Gerrard.

Yeah, it suks that our "Big" win this year came against such a lackluster team...more evidence of our extreme pathetic-ness

They're also missing their two best defensive players. Course, doesn't explain why their O sucks so bad.

Looks like Mario Williams had a decent game. Haven't seen as many BUsh-Williams comparisons lately since Bush isn't blowing the league up as much as everyone thought he would.

They have the same problem as us...injuries.

Jacksonville's a lousy road team and has no consistent WRs nor the most consistent QB. They are somewhat beat up on D too. If their D has an off day on the road, the chances of them winning are slim to none against a decent team given their one-dimensional offense. If it wasn't for their two good RBs, they wouldn't even have a hope for the playoffs this year.

I hope we get more wins because everybody is saying we won't win a game. I'm sure we can win against Dallas. Gibbs won't let us go 2-14.

Hopefully people start acknowledging the fact that rookies who start at defensive end on week 1 are anything but busts. Combine that with the fact that he has been at least relatively productive, and perhaps the reactionary sports media might actually wait, say, 7 weeks before they unjustly label someone a bust.

I agree with OWU's post. I also did not like how when the Texans passed on Bush the consensus was that Mario would have to be Reggie White to have that pick not be considered a bust. The media had annoited Reggie as a once in a lifetime player that he may well be, but it is too early to call that pick a bust.
