Did Beamer announce that VT is going to run a 2 QB rotation this week?

That is the plan, although SG will get the bulk of the snaps
Ike will be brought in to change up the pace, I'd guess every 3-4 possessions
The key is going to be keeping the ball out of Davis and Spillers' hands, and this is a game where a blocked punt or FG for a TD is a must
It has the feeling of one of those games we have won against superior opponents, WVU 2004, Miami 2003, hell keeping Miami 2001 as close as it was, and Clemson in 1998 beating them 37-0, where a special teams or defensive TD sparks the team
A big play is absolutley needed if VT wants a win on Thursday

MMmm Rails!!! I had four of those bad boys one night. I don't think the bartender even put any mixers in the cup. You have to love 8 different liquors in a 32 oz. cup. Let just say it got dicey!!!!

Hopefully the change up will keep the D off balance enough. Clemson is 4.5 pt favorites.

Just so you guys know...the last time I was at TOTS (Still in Blacksburg) the Rails were not in 32 oz cups, they are down to little 16 oz cups. Apparently too many girls were getting "Drunk" off the 32's...I can't imagine why.

They changed that during the summer of 2004, but I thought they were only down to 24 oz cups, at least thats what I saw in September
Down to 16 oz cups now? Ugh

I will be very surprised if VT pulls off the win. Clemson is my #2 fav NCAA School (grew up in SC), so I've been watching them this season. Their offensive line and running game are sick, and the D isn't too shabby either.

Ok I have done no work today, I am pumped for this game, and people in the Burg have reported there is a "buzz" in the air
Similar "buzz" to what was there November 1st 2003 before we beat Miami? :whoknows:
Hopefully its a good game tonight, I think we can beat Clemson if we bring our A game and get a big block on special teams

HAHA...with how drunk I was? My roommate, who was just as drunk as I was missed the game thanks to the fine men and women of the Blacksburg Police Department. I don't think I could have gotten down there without killing myself.
(I got 5 free jager bombs from clemson fans cause they kept saying 'The whoopin we're gonna lay on you, you're gonna need these') I wonder how that turned out? :D

I had one on Wednesday and 2 on Thursday, along with plenty of Miller Lite's and captain and Cokes.
The tailgating and the game were awesome. Great to see the Clemson fans faces after the game.
And for those who dont know its 8 different liquors mixed together, with grenadine, some sprite and red bull. Nohting better than watching some young hot piece pouring shot after shot of liquor into your cup. You ahve one of these and you are good to go....... Until the next one.
The liquors that are in it are, Vodka, Rum, Gin, and I cant remember the rest. Basically one shot of every rail liquor at the bar plus what I mentioned above. Needless to say the drink is expensive. 11 bucks, but it will last you a while.

Ok the damn thing is now 11 dollars and half the size it was in 2004?
When I graduated in 2004 they were serving 32 oz rails for 8 dollars. 2 you were good for the night
Now I know they are 16 oz, but for 11 dollars? When I was there for spring game and for the Northeastern game I grabbed top shelf rails for the hell of it. 24 dollars for the finest liquor in Blacksburg

Canethang needs 1 of these fine beverages for every Miami loss (3) for Saturday night's affair and that's just going to be for starters. It's going to be a LONG night.
If one of you Hokies might remember all 8 liqours please post, I'm from Maryland and used to DJ a lot in Bmore, and they had this drink called a "Baltimore ZOO" it was 7 liqours and a Beer in a 32 oz. cup, I sure as hell can't remember what was in it though, and if you tried to order it in DC they'd put the liquor in 1 up, hand you a bottle of Miller Lite and a cup and you had to mix it yourself.

Yes they are smaller, not 16 oz, 22 oz and the regular rails are still 8 bucks. I make mine a red bull rail for 3 bucks more.
They had to make them smaller, apparently people would just fall over after drinking them.

See, now my interest in Clemson is in direct conflict with my interest in WVU. I need Maryland to beat everyone so that WVU's ass-stomping of them looks better to the computers.
