In a vein similar to those Official Redskins gameday threads over at the Stadium, I've decided to create a thread for tonight's Thursday night game. For college football fans such as myself, Thursday night football is the equivalent of MNF for the college side (with the exception of last week's terrible UVA/UNC game  . Thursday night college games are a can't miss. So many memories, esp for Hokie fans. And then there's Erin Andrews. :D One of the two reasons I watch Thursday night football on ESPN. So let's hear your comments, observations, etc. for tonight's game in this thread regardless if you are a Hokie, Tiger, Mountaineer, Terp, Wolverine, Cane, or even an overrated NBCDamer. ;)

Damn, Morgan shouldve had that TD. And the penalties are killing our drives. We should be up 17-7 if not for those penalties.

Damn turnover by Glennon.

He should have been "super smart" and throw it away or run out of bounds :2cents:

Halftime now. Too many lost opportunities. We should be up by a lot more than 3. We can't let Clemson hang around. Also, the penalties on offense killed us on that one drive. We had the momentum there. The defense has been great though. We just need to get a TD to stretch this lead. :2cents:

LMAO at all the posts being by the thread starter.

Anyways I just got back from the game. The Redskins could learn a lot from us. RUN THE BALL. Brandon Ore had 37 carries for 203 yds and 2 TD.

Ok I am absolutley amp'd up

That ladies and gentlemen was Virginia Tech football

Run the ball down their throats and stuff Clemson. Our D held Clemson to 166 yards. Brandon Ore ran for over 200 yards

This was his national coming out party. Going up against the best D in the ACC, Brandon Ore dominated and carried his team on his back tonight with grit and heart and took it to the Clemson D

Ten 3 and outs? Beautiful game plan Bud, beautiful. Dare Clemson to throw the ball. Proctor couldn't

On offense that was one of the best game plans Stiney has gone with. He was patient with the run, stuck with it and took shots when the chances were there. Perfect way to defeat a D with superior athletes then your offense

Nic Schmit kept Clemson pinned deep the whole 2nd half which was absolutley critical. We won that field position battle and played text book VT style

Outstanding effort all around, so much for the demise of Virginia Tech, another top 10 opponent bites the dust and its time to get revenge down in the Orange Bowl

Well in fairness to me, clemson was #10 and had the best offense in college football and a top 10 defense.
