The Eagles have no wide receiver to move the chains consistently. While Gaffney wasn't great, he rarely drops the ball. I think it was a mistake to let him go in favor of all of the invisible young backups. They only have one proven vet at Wide Receiver. Reggie Brown is still green.

If you'll remember, it was Eagles fans last season who constantly reminded everyone how long the season was, though we never had a chance to say "I told you so" because we never exactly turned things around. It was also the Eagles fans in 2003 who insisted on the length of the season after an 0-2 start spawned most East fans to predict the Eagles reign was over. That season we eventually rebounded.

Regardless, like Skins fans, I suppose it's now Eagle's fans turn to remind everyone how long the season is, now that we are playing amazingly dissapointing football.
