Boy, when the Eagles started out 3-1 after beating the impressive likes of mighty Houston, San Fran, and Green Bay, I sure thought they were SB bound. At least that's what I'd have thought if I listened to people from Philadelphia.

The NFL has to make sure the Eagles arent out of it yet.

They dont want the NFCE wrapped up this early.

They love the Eagles, and its proven each week with the officials.

ugh... we spoke to early... out of field goal range, go for it on 4th, and dont convert

So it's a holding penalty and a punter saving a TD from 21-0. Typically as with the Eagles, it's only 7-0. Here comes the domination only for the Eagles to pull it out with some ridiculous play at the end. Five Tampa players can't tackle Westbrook. Five! Almost half the defense. If not for a miracle 62 yard FG...

Windy there right? Is it a factor with McNabb? They don't seem to be attempting the deep ball as much as normal. For some reason they're showing Baltimore/NO out here.

The Eagles have no wide receiver to move the chains consistently. While Gaffney wasn't great, he rarely drops the ball. I think it was a mistake to let him go in favor of all of the invisible young backups. They only have one proven vet at Wide Receiver. Reggie Brown is still green.

What an impressive prediction on your behalf.

O think everyone understood that the NFL season is a marathon. At least I hope everyone realized something so simple. If you'll remember, it was Eagles fans last season who constantly reminded everyone how long the season was, though we never had a chance to say "I told you so" because we never exactly turned things around. It was also the Eagles fans in 2003 who insisted on the length of the season after an 0-2 start spawned most East fans to predict the Eagles reign was over. That season we eventually rebounded.

Regardless, like Skins fans, I suppose it's now Eagle's fans turn to remind everyone how long the season is, now that we are playing amazingly dissapointing football.

Regardless, like Skins fans, I suppose it's now Eagle's fans turn to remind everyone how long the season is, now that we are playing amazingly dissapointing football.

It's very difficult eating some of what you dish out, isn't it.

The Eagles aren't bad...they just have forgotten how to win. Too many smiles after bad plays, too much kidding around on the sidelines...that, and a head coach who badly manages the clock and leaves points on the field...

But cheer up...there are still eight games to redeem yourselves.

It's very difficult eating some of what you dish out, isn't it.

It's not difficult to eat what I dish out. I remained tempered during the Eagles early season success, because like I said, anyone with any sense of history doesn't need to be reminded of the length of the season.

That being said, without a major attitude change in the Eagles' locker room it won't matter if the season is 162 games long.

Regardless, like Skins fans, I suppose it's now Eagle's fans turn to remind everyone how long the season is, now that we are playing amazingly dissapointing football.

uh yeah whatever

except I have been saying BEFORE the season it's a 16 game season, and it matters how a team finishes.

Poke fans, Eagles fans ... started their premature celebrating their NFC East title.... now have egg on their face

see you in two weeks... we'll see who turns it around

You mean to tell me that you knew before the season that teams play 16 games?

How many do we play next season?

(you can pm me your inside source if you don't want everyone to know).

David Gerrard representin' EastCarolinavery nicely today with a win.

Okay stat-wise he wasn't great, but there aren't too many ECU-Alums in the NFL so we take pride in who we have.

4-4 where we belong. Fire Andy Reid.

I said that a while back!
