Firstly you do have to admit the Panthers played like crap and made way too many uncharacteristic mistakes...

but still, I'll come in here and congratulate you guys. You won a game nobody expected you to and Tony Romo looks like he's going to be a great QB for you guys for years to come.

Props to Dallas and good luck for next week, not that you'll need it...

Well, the only good thing about them winning is that maybe next week wont seem so desperate for them. The only thing I can hope for is that this win will get them high on themselves, and have them flat for our game at fed ex next week(like last year)

one can hope...

Great, I get to hear people talk about Homo comparing him to Aikman.

I don't think he is that good.

He doesn't throw the deep ball well, and he had a good running game.

IMHO, he reminds me of brunell, all except that he actually wins games.

He will win a couple games with you guys, but he isn't a Farve, or a Brady.

Good luck with him, though.

Took alot to do that Warhead. It's only one game and of course I don't expect skins fans to be too impressed but I'll take the win. We are a desperate team. This is our first quality win. Honestly, I think our defense will look back to form. I know, it may be sudden, but after the bye week, everyone on defense will be healthy, and we will have a whole two weeks to make changes in our defense and prepair

Thanks Warhead.

What I feel on this board is a little bit of jealousy.

No, Redskins fans are not jealous of the Cowboys.

But yes, Redskins fans are jealous that Parcells made the QB switch that was needed.

It will be interesting to see if Brunell struggles, and Gibbs finally hands it over to Campbell midgame as Parcells just did last week.

Cant wait for a good one next week.

Good luck.

Hardly a random game.

First start for hopefully our QB of the future on the road vs. a playoff caliber team.

A game this early doesnt really qualify as a must win, but if we had any hope of making the playoffs, this was a must win.

personel wise? Yes. Playing wise? No.

This defense is no where as dominant as it was last year. There secondary doesnt seem that good this year(maybe because the loss of manning jr had something to do?), but I dont know, they just dont look that good.

Their offense, while good at times, it very inconsistent.

This is by no means the same team as last year.

So I will give you all props for going into a tough environment and winning the game.

I agree 100% its merely one game.

But it was one game we had to have if we really had any shot of making the playoffs.

Staying one game behind the Giants is big at this point.

Especially since they just began a 3 game homestand and we just began a 3 game road trip.

The question now is, are the Redskins that team that can finish?

Im with you on this man. Going into the game it was what, 67% of America said Carolina would win. The other 20 % was Cowboy fans. The rest people who hated Carolina.

We def. needed that game. We now have to (Not being a homer) Winnable games in the next two weeks. Coming out of this 3 game Road stretch 3-0 would be HUGE for us heading back to play Indy.

I think the thing about going to Washington, is a game Dallas should be favored to win. But we know it's not going to be an easy game even if the Skins were 0-6 or whatever. They will be fired up, and ready to send our Season into a Tailspin. Romo will be going to yet another hostile enviorment against another tough defense. Should be good.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark at this one.

He's a Redskin fan because he's from the area and grew up watching them.

Now, as a football fan he can look at another team and see that they may have taken a huge step forward. It was one game but Romo played exceptionally.

The Dallas defense stepped up and contained the BEST wide receiver in football. Stopped the best pass rusher in the NFL (4-3) based. They ran the ball extremely well and took advantage of the Carolina miscues.

I hate the cowboys but I'm not blind enough to pass this off and say its a fluke. The Dallas O-Line looked like a completely different unit. Romo stayed in the pocket and slid until he had to run out of it.

I was impressed. For people just to pass this off and say Carolina gave them the game yada yada is moronic. They won against a team that needed the win after losing to the Bengals last week. They converted 3rd and long and they rushed successfully against a good defense.

I will be at the Dallas game like I am every year. I will cheer I will yell but I'm not going to get my hopes up. The Skins look like the 2000 version right now. Overpaid and underachieving across the board. At lease Dallas looks like they have some fight in them.

I'm going to go throw up in the bathroom, two days in a row I've defended dallas.

Warhead36, remind me why you're a Redskins fan again?

Why do you get angry at fans who simply state their opinion?

75% of the skins think its time for the JC era to begin. But you stick with Gibbs through thick and thin.

Its ok to disagree with your coach on some things. I"ve disagreed with Landry, Johnson, and Parcells on stuff. Doesn't mean I'm not a fan.

Being a fan means more than sticking your head in a hole when it comes to your own team, it means you can speak your mind.

Look at your team. They are dying for a change. There are far too many weapons on your team that are simply not being used properly.

I'm predicting that when JC does come in, whether he plays great, or poor, it is going to totally energize your team. Defense, Offense, special teams. All across the board.

Not to rain on your guys parade or anything, but I just didn't see a quality win there. I saw a Panthers team who was pretty much in control of the entire game have every unfortunate occurance happen to them within 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. Keyshawn dropping the sure pass lead to all hell breaking loose. Really, they handed you guys the game... the only credit I can give you guys is that you accepted the gift and did something. ;)

What game where you watching? Not only did Dallas win by 21 points on the road.

But they dominated total yards (414 vs. 204), yards per play (5.4 vs. 4.0) and time of possession (38:16 vs. 21:44).

7 of Carolina's points came on Romo's INT which gave them the ball at the Dallas 24 yard line (and a questionable INT at that).

Dallas' points came on a 9 play, 47 yard drive. A 14 play, 68 yard drive. And a 14 play 71 yard drive.

Essentially, the Carolina offense couldn't move the ball after their first TD. And the Panthers were outright dominated in every facet of the game, sans penalties, after they went up 14-0.

Dallas had more sacks, more yards, more yards per play, more turnovers forced, and a gigantic advantage in time of possession.
